This ^^^ makes it seem like he isn't leaving Rutgers in the dust.

Except for the fact that Coach Flood is no longer coach at Rutgers, so that definitely helps

so was Jennings...just sayin' this kid could be great though

Jennings wasn't invited to the Opening though. Russo was and did really well. He was on the same team as Shea Patterson and overshadowed him during the first couple days.

that's 67% completion.

...which is pretty good on its own and damned excellent considering how many perfect balls his receivers dropped in that tape.

I honestly like his tape better than the film of Franks I've seen. Franks was always going to be a project...this kid looks like he could be at least serviceable and not screw up too much while he learns to make reads, etc.

Not sour grapes, either. I'd take Shea over either, for example.

Exactly. Everyone keeps saying that we need a kid that can throw the ball around and not necessarily a 4 or 5 star kid. Maybe they see something in this kid. Bottom line is that with the athletes we have all we need is a kid that can make good decisions and easy throws.

Jesus H. Christ some of y'all are some depressing arse individuals!! Give me a freaking 1 star QB that is a Pro Style under the center QB that has heart!! Do any of you depressed fans out there that only want to sign 5* QB's have any idea how many damn good 1, 2 and 3 star QB's they have playing in the CFB and FCS?

I collected my share of downvotes in two of the L Scott threads for questioning the kid's fit in our offense, and for preferring Haskins. However, if Cam is making a move here, you can pretty much count Haskins out.

With that and both of our main targets for 2017 committed elsewhere, the staff should go ahead and try to sign both this guy and Scott. Out of the two of them and McMillan, hopefully at least one will be a solid starter at some point.

You're not alone. Most on this board would flip if they knew Wudtee was higher on LSU's board than Scott. Solid intel confirmed this.

Damn. If that's true, we might see a Rant-style melt on the RB.

The new coach is Chris Ash from Ohio State. He's apparently told the team that they will run a spread offense which Russo does not fit. This could work out well for us.
