Would you say that's an accurate comparison minus Jordy Nelson (Green Bay) playing in the NFL?
Style? Playmaking abilities? Yes, it just so happens he is white as well.
Thoughts?

Nelson was not this good at 18 so, No, I would not use that comparison. This kid is hard to compare with anyone because he is so polished at such a young age. Add to that his speed. I just don't like the comparisons of white kid is like this white athlete or black kid is compared to another black athlete.

I wish folks would stop comparing him to every white receiver that they can think of. The best comparison that I've heard on here is a faster Josh Reed.

I don't think it race anything. People are comparing him and some think we should not limit options of comparisons to race. That is all. This kid a phenomenal athlete and he is closer to Greg Jennings, Maclin, Torry Holt....rather then Abram Booty, Nelson and Steve Largent.

You know what, I can see how this can be seen as an issue also. But not all. I also brought up Lance Alworth when comparing TQ to someone. Alworth was a great athlete. He was fast and smooth like TQ. But I see what you saying here.

Hung out with Josh Reed at the Super Bowl Playboy party in New Orleans 2002. He is 5'10" at best and not real fast. More like Jerry Rice.
