Yeah, but reality is if you look at who UL-Lafayette has committed, very few are being recruited heavily and they're mainly beating Southland Conference and low end FBS schools for players. The hype over "Hud" is fine and all, but this isn't Division II he's coaching anymore...he won't be able to take renegade transfers who can't pass or got into trouble at D-I schools like he could at North Alabama.

UL couldn't even get these type of recruits in years past. At least now the school is out recruiting the the likes of McNeese for a change.

Bustle had a hard time even getting solid Div. II players much less lower tier FBS players. Hudspeth is definitely on the right track.

Now if we can just beat McNeese...

Once again, why is there a ULL thread on this board? Go to the more sports board or somewhere else. This is bullshite.

Looks like a pretty impressive list of commitments for ULL. I know given the bad blood between the LSU & ULL, many of you would not cheer for ULL but I say why the hell not? After all, with the current state of the Louisiana University system we could really use some good publicity.

Check out the offer list of one of their RB commits:
RB Alonzo Harris 6'1" 201 lbs 4.4 secs
Offer List Includes:
Cincinnati, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville
Mississippi State, Tennessee, South Alabama,
Southern Miss.

Its gonna be hard being a top 25 team with under 9 wins, the ceiling IMO is 8 maybe 9 wins a year because every year you play 3 moneys games vs. SEC or big 12 opponents.

Only two next year and that's usually the case. Still, ULL will have to run the conference table in order to get to 9 wins or more. Hope they get it done. The Sunbelt has overtaken the MAC IMO when it comes to competition.
