DB from Patterson and RB from Cecilia with legit speed..good pickups IMO

We have 4, 3 star commits that's big time compared to what were used too

Coach Hud is gonna have ULL dominating the Sun Belt with MS and LA players.

You ULL fans are going to have a great coach who runs a fun offense to watch. Yall also hired a great OL coach in Mitch Rodrigue who coached at Southern Miss for years with Bower.

I hope so, it'd be nice to win a conference title. He definately has already made an impact.

Cajuns are finally getting it together.

Now, don't loose anymore recruits to UH and start taking some from A&M. I'm ready for us to have another team playing real ball.

No other La school has been in the top 50-75 teams since Tulane.

Hub was on TV the night he was announced talking about being a top 25 team and winning bowl games. He better do something, that's some big words...ask Rex how that works out.

Its gonna be hard being a top 25 team with under 9 wins, the ceiling IMO is 8 maybe 9 wins a year because every year you play 3 moneys games vs. SEC or big 12 opponents. It would take a couple huge upsets to break into the top 25 even if you sweep the belt.

The Aucoin get was huge considering he went from being committed to Tulsa to enrolled at ULL in the span of about 12 hours.

Once again, why is there a ULL thread on this board? Go to the more sports board or somewhere else. This is bullshite.

You realize that by posting that comment you bump it to the top of the page right?

And there is no problem with it being here. If no one is interested it will fall to the second page. If people are interested then it obviously deserves to be here. And it won't matter if it's on here if LSU news breaks because the 30 other threads that are started when that happens will push it down.

I don't see why people are so upset about recruiting talk on the recruiting board.

That's one of the great things about this board, you don't have to read everything posted, it's your choice.

Obviously you do want to read this thread though, because you continue to post in here.

Not really, I just like to read about USL fans keeping it real which is extremely rare to see

Tech has a solid class too, they have 15 3* players, first time ive looked outside the top 20.. Both look to have decent classes.

Yeah, but reality is if you look at who UL-Lafayette has committed, very few are being recruited heavily and they're mainly beating Southland Conference and low end FBS schools for players. The hype over "Hud" is fine and all, but this isn't Division II he's coaching anymore...he won't be able to take renegade transfers who can't pass or got into trouble at D-I schools like he could at North Alabama.

The other reality is that they are getting better players than before. ie. Harris is the #2 nationally ranked FB,Griffin was Mr. Football in his State, their WR was the 2nd rated receiver in the State of Miss. and the Aucion kid from Patterson was one of the best DB's in La.Before Nichols and other schools beat them head to head on recruits.Give this coaching staff one year to make contacts in LA and look out during recruiting time. The 2nd and 3rd best players won't be leaving the State for out of state schools.Boise State since 2008 only recruited (1) 4* player. The majority were 2* recruits and we know how that has worked out.No coaching staff is going to outwork the new ULL staff in the Sun Belt.ULL has started an organization similar to LSU's TAF and it has already resulted in upgrading some ULL sport facilities.
