1. UCLA is pretty good. 2. I am making this up, but its probably close: When Clark visited Michigan it was -3 AND he didn't have long underwear packed for the trip. When he visited UCLA, it was 74, and the cheerleaders were practicing in shorts.

I'm not talking about all of that. They had a TE with one catch in 2014. That's compared to Michigan with just one TE who had 21 catches, and he only played 10 games. The last true TE they had was in 2012. The year prior Michigan had two TEs combine for 69 receptions 990 yards and 8 TDs.

Because they have numbers in those years. They are a very young team and were only expecting 16-18 even with Hoke. Harbaugh took some kids to help build depth and kids he feels fit his system but also swung for the fence on a few and missed. I like his overall strategy. No need to take kids that won't contribute. Save them for next year when he's got all year to build relationships. He will recruit well.

Its good for the rest of us if Michigan does well. OSU needs some competition. I know Wisconsin and MSU compete pretty well but that uses to be because of better coaching and development. Meyer stands toe to toe with them there but has much better talent. Those teams won't frick with him over the long haul. He has the perfect job(slightly better than Jumbo and FSU because of Clemson) to dominate unless Michigan rises back up. Michigan is the only school in that conference that has the brand to recruit at the same level. When the coaching is equal or close it comes down to talent and OSU is leaps and bounds above everyone in the Big 10 in that regard

I wonder if Harbaugh knows there isn't free agency in college football.

Wut? You're playing football. What other decision would it be if it isn't a football decision?

Also, picking up Tyrone Wheatley Jr was a decent consolation prize for missing out on Clark.

Yep. And now we are getting word that a fifth year CB for stanford, Wayne Lyons, is transferring to UM.

So weather or girls, or both, did play a part I guess.

Wow you're stupid.

The UM poster made a valid point, and after posting this on the LSU Recruiting board that has nothing to do with LSU recruiting , you act like he's stupid.

Bravo Albert bravo!

Better for him to rebuild his way. Hold on to the scholarships for kids he wants and believes in than to panic and just get kids on board.

One thing he will be able to offer to kids next year is to play early. He will build a team with his guys. They will get experience and 3 or 4 years from now may be something to watch out for.

One thing is for sure. Michigan will stay with Harbaugh for years to come. He is not really under any early pressure.

They may not be done either. Could still sign the number 2 OLB in the country.

Just for some perspective, LSU only signed 13 in Les Miles' first class.

Harbaugh was focused on quality over quantity. Pretty sure he brought their star average up substantially in a little over a month.
