this is total CYA by the university. if the NCAA ever comes sniffing around, they will pull out the letter they sent to Chicken and other sites. It is totally not able to be enforced.

I've been on the campus twice. Once for a basketball game in the winter. Once for a wedding in late spring. It is pretty nice. And one kick-arse vet med school, baby.

So if a young athlete asks Mom or Dad for advice, they have to say nothing? That would make them boosters too, after all.

This kind of bureaucratic silliness deserves nothing more than a big fat 400 pound with lots of hair. Some regulations simply deserve to be broken, frequently and with great enthusiasm.
