Again, Tenn is Alabama's permanent opposite division foe just like Florida is LSU'S. They play each other every year!!!

Montgomery would look really bad if he pulled out of this regardless of pressure if there was any at all. He's LSU

so if richardson chooses bama, then montgomery will choose unc because they want...to go...to school...together? HUH?

This isn't too believable, however, if ESPN did hold him to picking a school at that press conference, it is somewhat believable. He did say before he picked LSU he wanted to wait to see what TR did. Perhaps he picked LSU hoping that TR would too and then he could put it all to rest. If TR goes elsewhere, maybe SM does too. I doubt it though.
