re: Buying a car in Texas but I live in Louisiana - KCSBIGPAPA
As long as you have the title and bill of sale, if the title does not have a spot for sale price and notary signature, you are good to register in LA. You do not have to register in Texas. If you have a notary in TX notarize the transaction you shouldn't need anything else. If a Louisiana Notary ...

re: Disney Spinoff - Disney or Vegas for family of 4 (2 small kids) - KCSBIGPAPA

re: What kind of rifle do you shoot? - KCSBIGPAPA
Just bought "my" first. Had my dad's 30-30 that I enjoy using as a brush gun but new lease requires me to stretch one out to about 300 yd every so often. TC Venture 308 with Nikon Prostaff 3X9X40. Advertising was true for me. Shot 1" group at 100 out of the box....
I'd go with 7-08 as many have said, but deffinatly look for a real rifle, not the single shot rossi/h&r.
This! From experience, bought my 11 yo son the 7mm-08 crack barrell just to hold over til we were ready to upgrade in a few years. Damn thing hurts me, much less letting hi...

re: OT Golfers: How Long Are Your Drives... - KCSBIGPAPA
Here's my take on this and I know that this was not the thread's intention but.... for every average smoe that averages 280-300 yards, you do realize that the snap hook that just bounced off the tree and into the woods only went about 110. So you are going to have to hit a couple 400 yarders to get...

re: compound bow for children - KCSBIGPAPA
my wife is wanting to get into bowhunting
Endorsed it earlier, but I'll do it again because I think it is a perfect bow for youth and women. The Bowtech Soldier my 12 year old bought about a year and half ago will be the last bow I buy him. 30-65# adustable draw weight and 21-29...

re: compound bow for children - KCSBIGPAPA
Bowtech Soldier is a really nice bow and very adjustable. 30-65 pound with 21-29 inch draw length. Might be a little big for 8yo but mine got his 2 years ago at 10. ...

re: Any VA employees out there? - KCSBIGPAPA
Yeah, I don't understand now that I'm rereading. Basically, if you work 30 years you get 30% of you highest 3 years salary. 80000 per year as high 3, you earn 24000 per year in retirement + investment plan + social security. Things are different when you select different annuity plans, that's jus...

re: Any VA employees out there? - KCSBIGPAPA
Not a VA employee but a government employee and benefits mostly the same unless you are a LEO. 30 year min gets you 1% per year retirement for 30% of your highest three years(could be 5 in the near future) salary. Thrift saving plan available for you to contribute to, with government matching firs...

re: For the advanced OT golfer ... - KCSBIGPAPA
Can't relate because I don't sweat like most, but I use Golf Pride tour velvet and keep a towel with one end wet. Wipe hands on wet end and then dry off with dry end. Always worked better than just drying off. I seen some use "dry hands". Not sure what's in it but keeps them dry for a few holes....

re: In Little League, is a kid allowed to change positions in the middle of inning? - KCSBIGPAPA
I don't know if it was a local rule or in the Dixie rules but the way we play is anytime there is a position change on defense the coach must call a timeout. The coach is only allowed two defensive timeouts per inning. Limiting a position change twice per inning. I thinks it's a BS move but it ha...

re: The cold hard facts re: TCU vs LSU this year - KCSBIGPAPA
TCU beats LSU by 14.
I'll give you that TCU and Boise are good this year and on any given day can play with anyone in the country. But, if they had to play a SEC, Big 12, Big 10 schedule they wouldn't be undefeated....
