Feel like this will turn out like Willie Gay from Starkville last year

Interesting prospect. Measurables are elite.

Willie Gay situation all over again.

Chase
Marshall
Heath
I'd be very happy with 2 of those 3. Ecstatic if Marshall was one of the 2.

Haha. As I read that I thought Willie Gay as well. Good to know I wasn't alone.

Not falling for that again

This would be interesting if he chose us. If he did, I wonder where that leaves us with Marshall, Chase, and Keys, or if Jenkins or Jones decommits? Either way, we're signing a lot of WRs in 2018. I know I'm stating the obvious though.

If he lives in Jackson, baton rouge should feel just like home

The difference here is the time of interest. We came on late for Gay, too late. We are jumping in at a early stage here. Lots of time to make a convincing case.

For whatever reason, it is very hard to pull skill players from MS as an out of state school. I can count on one hand the amount of skill guys we've signed over the last 15 years. I don't get my hopes up.

Yeah, count me in as being skeptical

Derrick Odom was from Callaway

Put me in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp

He'll never be able to go home and get a job though...

Marshall, in my opinion, is the one must-get offensive player in this class. We damn sure could use an elite back first and foremost, but the staff has some major work to do to get one talking LSU seriously again.

Recruiting is such a shite show.

If Fabian Franklin gets qualified we will get an elite back otherwise we get a few solid players and gear up to load up in 2019.
Agreed on Marshall though if we can get him and one more really good WR prospect we will be set there. He and Chase could be a Odell-Jarvis type duo at LSU
