Shep being the QB or WR threat, and then there is the passing. maybe a poor choice of words

Gotcha.

So, what kind of impact do you see Debose making at Florida as a freshman? (catches, rec yds, rushing yds, etc)

solid yet unspectacular

I believe this is the offensive philosophy of the LSU coaches.

They prefer "solid" ball control offense and keep moving the chains. If we break one, okay, that's great.

you cant argue how much that handcuffed the entire offense last year.

So "Handcuffed" is the cool new intergeek word for "Most points ever scored by an LSU football team"?

Gotta agree with Sammich here. No comment from the peanut gallery?

this isnt serious, is it? i would hardly describe mattie flynn as "handcuffing." the hatch/j-lee/JJ trifecta, however, i would. last year= 08. use some common sense when trying to give an e-beatdown.

It's mostly about what our Miles' offensive philosophy is. He belives the surest way to a NC is built around a strong running game that can get the critical yards in crunch time...balanced by an efficient passing game that can keep the defense honest. It's a time honored strategy and has already worked once for sure. (very similar to what Saban believes...just sayin) I would love to see Trindon, for one, get more touches but our offense doesn't leave much room. Say we average about 70 offensive snaps a game. Average about 30 passes or so leaving 40 plays to be split amongst the RB's. 15 for Scott, 10 for KW, 4 or 5 for Murphy, 4 or 5 QB runs/scrambles, leaves only 4 or 5 for Trindon or another wide receiver reverse or something. Its mostly just a numbers game.

UF definitely found a niche sometime around our game. Before that had you asked most Gator fans that would have expressed some discontent with their offense.

I don't think UF as more "playmakers" than we do. I do think their offense really gelled about the middle of this season. On the other hand, ours didn't until the GT game.
