Emmitt Gooden
Caleb Roddy
Sci Martin
Andre Anthony

and don't forget about Glen Logan.

We need to just stock up on DE's. Apparently a few of these guys might change positions in the future. Roddy might play O line and Anthony maybe OLB if I remember correctly.

Also Erick Fowler, who may be visiting this weekend and be in for the July camp.

Will be interesting to see if this is Steele's transition into the 3-4

You might be thinking of Stephon Taylor rather than Roddy. I think Coach O is really making an effort to bring in and lock up the in-state.

I think Tenn. leads for Gooden
Fowler and Thornton recruited as OLB

The talent is in Louisiana. Plus when you have a roster full of Louisiana boys the team has that "Louisiana against the world" mentality that all the best LSU teams have had recently

Sci could be a OLB as well. 6'3-220 I don't see those type of guys as DEs in Kevin's Defense.

Well that's an odd offer, not that he's not deserving, but just surprised it came when it did.

No doubt.

Plus, it's easier to get turnt when "I'm from Louisiana" is blaring.

He said they may work him out at center at that camp, which they didn't.

The kid may love LSU but he didn't commit to play OL...

Agree. I know 15 is an exaggeration but O has always coordinated very DL heavy classes where ever he's been. He loads up on them sometimes as a detriment to other positions. Luckily for him this is the perfect class for him to load up since we need so many. Have to keep him in check though because he will overtake

The comments from the Tulane fans from the article are classic.
