Swoopes per his HS coach has taken calls from Both Urban Meyer and Nick Saban recently...I'll be shocked if he commits this weekend. Also, Barrett was just offered by Meyer at OSU.

The QB market in Texas is starting to heat up..fast!!

Yeah, but Mack will continuously pound the Vince Young 2.0 into his head. I think he winds up at Texas

Well, this only works for kids who want to hear it.

Remember the worst recruiting pitches from ESPN this past season? One of them was, "You can be the next _______." Some kids want to be known as themselves.

Not saying thats the case here, but its been known to happen.

Take these predictions with a grain of salt

Swoopes to UT

JT Barret - open

Cody Thomas - open may be a really good fit for LSU because he is a D1 baseball player as well and might want to play both sports.

Kohl Stewart - committed to aTm, I am betting the 95 mph fastball at 16 has him drafted high enough in the MLB draft that he may never show up on campus.

Kincade is closer to 6'2 than 6'0 these days. Most know I like him a lot but he isn't my 1st choice. I like the Thomas kid from Texas and Barrett more. Just think he wouldn't be a bad option if it came down to it. I prefer a traditional pro style qb in this class but don't really prefer one style over the other. Big difference in a really good college qb and a pro prospect qb. Kincaide has better skills than Darron Thomas imo and he was pretty damn good in college. I'll take a Darron Thomas like guy without the baggage anyday.

That's an inaccurate statement. There are still people on here who think he could've been the starting QB even with Mettenberger on the roster. I thought he could play QB until watching his camp footage when he was working out with Jefferson, Lee, and Garrett. Shep's throws made the other QB's look like NFL starting QB's. I do, however, think Shep can become an outstanding receiver for us. I wish he had another year of eligibility left on his clock.

He's got that Russell Shepard film. Haven't seen enough of him throwing to get a real good feel for him as a QB...but I wouldn't mind seeing him running the option here. Dude's got scary talent.

You cannot be serious, take another look..plus Tyrone's comp. is pretty poor.

He was a TE/WR playing a QB on TV.

Kincade is better and provides a possible pipeline into a high school that always produces talent

Yes he was. He was just a really overrated one at 4* Rivals250.
