Hating on Kansas as a state, ok I get it, but hating on Lawrence KS and KU as a place to work and live is uneducated about best. Lawrence is a fantastic College town. If we still wants to coach then I can see it and it would be a great move for KU. Plus their facilities project is almost done so it doesn’t look like a 1970s Church gym over there anymore

More like why go to a team that gets embarrassed every other weekend and wins 0-3 games a year. Kansas is like a FCS team mascarading in a power 5 football conference.

How stupid was he for leaving LSU?

Don't be surprised if Tony Hull in P&G next year

Tony Hull got Louisiana players to Kansas by trash talking his home state school and playing the race card...I hope not!

Mangino won 12 games there.

He's going to play for Miles.

In the most out of context season in Kansas football history. In the last EIGHT years they havent won more than 3 games in any 1 season. EIGHT years in a row being totally awful.

Here's some what ifs, what if Miles gets hired by Kansas and he hires his boy Peveto as his DC. Kenyon Green flipped to A&M because of Peveto. He isn't following him to Kansas.

Miles isnt going to Kansas, why on earth people think this is even a possibility is beyond me. He's STILL getting paid $125k/mo by us.

I wouldn't put it past Miles to take the job. I wouldn't put it past Jeff Long to offer it.
I don't think he's the guy to get them turned around though. Despite being in the middle of a ton of JUCOs, they wouldn't be able to get the kind of talent that would make whatever offense Miles wants to run successful.
He would probably hit his ceiling at 6 wins. They would be better when he left than when he arrived, but that's not saying much.
ETA: Kansas should hire Bob Stitt.

I see all this is coming off a Feldman tweet. It's part of Miles' buyout he has to "Actively" job search to continue to get paid by us. Just seems like a way for him to meet that clause. Him going to Kansas makes about zero sense. Every year we hear his name for this and that jobs but it's just to meet conditions for the buyout IMO.

Not by SEC standards. It is a nice campus, the college life is really pretty dull. I live 15 minutes from Lawrence. I have started o pay more attention to the football team. however, since Hull has pulled in Pooka and a few other decent prospects. If KU hires Les Miles, I might attend some games.

That's what has made the boards light up, but my cousin (Mizzou fan) was hearing from Kansas boosters on Sunday that they were targeting Les.

Not about wins and losses with Kansas.
They need someone to build a program and culture.
He would be a perfect fit for Kansas.
It's too much for a young up and coming coach to try and come in and win there.
Miles would immediately upgrade recruiting, instill some toughness in the program, and when he's done it would be viable for someone to come in and hit the ground running.
No reason Kansas can't at least be respectable like Kansas St or Iowa St.
And Miles has a track record and could pull of an upset of Oklahoma with improved recruits.

I would take Tony Hull over Tommie Robinson any day.. Hes from new Orleans and if he can get players to go to Kansas I’m sure he could get any kid from Louisiana to LSU

Yea that’s bullshite you stupid hating motherfricker! Tony Hull is a standup guy who made his bones in New Orleans. Those kids have a connection with him. The parents trust him with their kids. Give the man his props.
