He's very comparable to Jameis Winston as an athlete I believe.

That's exactly what I said when I first saw him a year ago. He's high school Jameis. From height, weight, arm strength, and the way they play. He should finish as a 5 star after exploding at the Elite 11.

Black, White or Yellow...don't care.

Just give me a guy that's intelligent, can read a D, can complete over 50% of his passes and move pocket when necessary to extend a drive.

LSU shouldn't have so much trouble finding a guy that can do this.

You can add Fran Tarkenton & pre knee injury Joe Namath to that list as well otherwise

Franks is absolutely a pocket passer.

He looks like Mett on tape with just better mobility.

I wouldn't call him a pure pocket passer at the moment.

As several guys said in this thread. He's the modern day pocket passer. Always looks to pass but is athletic enough to get yards or get away with his feet. If harris wins the job this yer he will have 2 years to get the playbook down and have cam coach him up. Hopefully the days of having only 2 or 3 scholarship qb's on the roster or over. If we can get Lowell and Thompson next year and zadock the following year we will be set for a while until someone transfers.

It damn sure looks like this kid has plenty of tools in the toolbox, his arm being one of them. Some wheels and vision are the other two. Or at least the innate beginnings of those to be developed.

In addition, they're projecting him to end up somewhere around 6'4" and 235 lbs (or at least that's what I think I read on AL.com somewhere). We're talking Cardelle Jones comparisons here, if you choose to go most recent.

He was 6'5 200 pounds as a sophomore I believe so he's gained 20 pounds already. I'm sure he can get to 235 before he starts his first game

Source. My original gut feeling was LSU, but not anymore.

Welp, there are QBs who fit our style of play, and their are others who want to put up numbers. HS coaches make the transition from HS to college easy by running the spread, but the transition from college to the NFL is hurt by running the spread in college...whatever the kid want to do thou.

Are you kidding, I would take Rodgers over every one of these guys, hell over everyone in the NFL except maybe Brady!!!

He is a super QB. However I understand your need to be able to run and pass but to say Rodgers is old and over the hill, you are smoking some bad shite

I've been invited to his birthday/announcement party, so I can report live as it's happening. I've been told it's between LSU and Auburn. Personally I think he's done growing (height-wise). He's 6'2" right now and I think he's maxed-out. He is definitely still packing on weight, though... I'd guess that he's in the 215-220 range right now.

Narcisse's throwing ability is really underrated. He's a phenomenal athlete, no doubt, but he can also sling it.

Watching him on film, I see Michael Vick. He has a good arm, but does not have Vick's, though he is physically bigger and may run the ball as well as Vick?
