Both hold offers as Maryland just offered Fourcade this week.

If that is true, then this kid may have felt slighted by LSU's late interest in him and decided to visit Maryland this weekend.

I do not fault this kid, but it is very disappointing how the coaching staff handle the recruitment of QBs in this outstanding class of recruits.

absolutely no reason for him to come this morning. The area is going to be a warzone

Dad said in an article yesterday that they owe it to his son to make some visits before deciding. They are just going through the process. I would do the same for my son and I love LSU.

Or it could be because Scott scheduled his OV to LSU on January 29th and wanted to OV at both schools that recently offered him.

Maryland offered Scott only a few days before LSU

The Staff is doing a great job recruiting, losing Franks will not hurt us at all.

Patterson and Haskins were really never ours.

I think offering Scott was our only choice and we could have offered back in December but we were chasing Haskins.

So if Scott comes to LSU all good but remember this Scott's senior year was awesome and prior to this season his play did not attract big time schools and he has not been offered by most big time schools like Bama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State etc.

He should not be slighted and if he does not attend LSU then more than likely he will choose a school for early playing time or less competition

According to his high school coach during an interview this week, you are totally wrong. The coach made it clear that Cam has been in contact regularly since April, and visited the school a number of times. It was understood LSUs situation with Frank's.

Some folks won't let the facts stand in their way. They just want to stick to the script that (bashing the staff) our staff just awoke from their slumber and ran out to drop an offer on Scott.

He should pick the school that he feels most comfortable at.

104.5 interviewed his HS coach who explained it pretty well. I would encourage you listen to it, but he basically said that LSU (Cam Cameron) called the coach every couple of weeks and let it be known that LSU wanted 1 QB in this class. The coach said that since Franks was committed for a year and a half that they didn't / don't feel slighted.

Here is the link: LINK

Disclaimer, I've only heard the clips on the other radio shows.

If he is coming he better already be on the way because BWI will close this evening. American Airlines announced they wee suspending flights to the area and moving all their planes out till the storm passes. Most other airline will follow suit.

Really? You're disappointed that they didn't offer Scott when they had Franks committed? What about after Franks decommitted, and they were pushing for Haskins? Should they have offered Scott then?

The coaches went with the best guy on their board. When that guy rejected us they moved to the next highest possibility. You're disappointed in that strategy? What strategy would you employ? Please explain it without using names from this class. We need your brilliant strategy in a format we can use next cycle and in each future cycle.

i would not fault this kid one bit if he went somewhere else. we were just really late to the party and expect our big name to make up for it.

This is called being a good parent. That being said, we are getting hammered with the weather. May not be worth the trip for safety reasons. All flights here in Clt cancelled for today and likely will be tomorrow d/t more bad weather tomorrow. I can only imaging Md will be worse.

Can we fault Maryland for being "late to the party" too? They offered him a few days before we did

I could we Fourcade jumping on Maryland quick. Scott has more options. Maryland is Fourcade's only FBS offer. That's kind of hard to pass up imo. Scott has much more options in that department.
