I didn't realize what kind of school it was. Not from the area and never really heard much about it. Didn't realize it was an all boys private school.

Fournette could run for like 4,000 yards at Yale. In a season.

Ivy League schools don't have athletic scholarships correct?
I thought I read somewhere that they do give out need based ones though.
ETA: not saying kids family is poor.... Just wondering how a ju who isn't wealthy can go play a sport there

I know Harvard's scholarships are 100% needs based, so I would assume that most of the Ivy League is big into needs based scholarships.

I had a couple friends who got recruited by some Ivys and got the impression from them that they don't have "athletic scholarships" but that they're taken care of if they are recruited there to play a sport. Sort of a situation where they don't have them in name only.
And regardless, I don't think many people pay full freight at the Ivy schools anyway.

I know a couple, but that's beside the point. I didn't realize what kind of school St Aug was.

I have to believe a kid from Aug going to Yale has to be the best Athlete in their class.

Blaise Brown is supposed to be headed to Dartmouth as well. So two Ivey league kids from one school same class.

Actually only the third person I've ever heard of with that name and spelling. My old man is one of them.
I actually like it, and may use it as a middle name for my first born.
