Anybody heard anything?

I guess there wasn't much expected from Marshall and Gibson.

Maybe Weathersby? and he is a big need... Let's hope we hear something good this evening...

I feel bad for Fournette because it's hard to follow his brother,- #1 recruit from last year. Just don't know much about him other than he is solid athlete...

Hope there is some good stuff brewing behind the scenes, but after the huge lift from the addition of some pretty good recruiters, its been kind of quiet on their areas(DL and lb). It might just be late in the year to affect things, but I'm holding out that things are going on in the background, and that we'll close strong, but it is pretty Quiet..I was hoping Weathersby would have popped already, but oh well...still hoping for a decent close!!!

Basically only 3 came in who were uncommitted.

Last weekend was quiet too. I hope they really bring it for nsd.

The only person I'm confident In at this point is arden key. But I really hope we get a shot at flipping Leo Lewis and jamal peters

The Key recruitment took a possibly bad turn as well. He is going to Auburn next week instead of UGA. He was never gonna end up at UGA so him visiting there would have been better for us. Auburn is a major, major threat even with Coward and Jefferson on the board. We lead for Key but next week could change that. We shall see

Rumors abound that LSU have 3-4 silent commits. I know how solid silent are these days though. I am pretty convinced one of them is Key.

Again, I know that can change immediately

U can't expect these 4 and 5 star recruits to commit right after a visit... It rarely happens

Exactly. These higher rated prospects want their moment to announce on ESPN or at their school in front of friends and family, etc.

Could be Lewis.....Key......could have been Jackson...... And an OL prospect. Never know.... Ce Ce and key are big needs so is Lewis and man Iman would make this class special. Would also make our secondary unbeatable!!! Yikes

When it comes to recruiting yes. I don't believe anything any of these kids say nor do I trust much if the news that comes out about them these days. They play the media better than Bill Belichek. I am a glass half full guy when it comes to instate kids but OOS is completely different. Also depends on the kid. This one in particular has committed to USCe twice and DE committed from USCe twice, yet is just today coming off an official visit to where, USCe. Also he was just at Auburn 3 weeks ago on an unofficial and now is going back. Its called reading tealeaves and dealing with a kid that is borderline bipolar when it comes to USCe. I don't think I've ever seen a kid commit and decommit from the same school twice and still keep them on his list and OV there after said decommitments. The kid is on another level of fickle so I don't trust anything having to do with his recruitment. I doubt he does either

well if verbal doesn't mean much anymore, then using the word silent doesn't brew confidence. I think Key will be a Bayou Bengal either way

Sounds like Dillion is in now

"We are in the thick of things with Marshall and Weathersby.."

Distance will likely be factor on Marshall, but he like Coach O

And apparently CC is in play as well...if he can let go of "his buddies"....who are likely going to AU or Ole Miss...

Sound be exciting finish

Is that really the biggest thing going against him coming to LSU?
