Why do people still think Curtis steered him to USC and not the mounds and mounds of money he was paid?

Jonathan Wells

So going to OSU over a Dinardo coached-LSU is being steered? OK.

Chris Howard

So going to Mighigan over a Hallman coached-LSU is being steered? OK.

Obviously Curtis was steering players away from LSU when Watson came out, because we only signed 6 or 7 guys from Curtis that same year.

I'm with you on this one ProjectP. People heard a rumor after and during the McKnight shite and it has carried over for the years after. It's bullshite. Is he Don Shows and a big LSU supporter? No but his kids show up to every LSU camp and visit LSU often. He didn't push Gordon away. He's not pushing Dupre and Kenny Young away either. Both are very, very likely to be Tigers next year.

I think Curtis is neutral. Kids from that program come to lsu if they want or go elsewhere if they want.

People are still bitter about McKnight but he was bought and delivered to USC. Accepted benefits out of high school just as he did in college.

If JT Curtis has one flaw it is his ego and his desire to publicize Curtis. IMO he should have ran interference in McKnights recruitment because it was shady and got out of hand but had a hard on for USC and Pete Carrol coming in and recruiting his boy.

Nease the former school of Kain D. Has lost its luster. The county which it is located in opened 3 new high school and spread the talent around And watered down the Nease high-school powerhouse. Sandlewood High school is huge and carries a pretty good squad this year. A couple players in the past have signed with UF and Auburn and other SEC schools but it has no pipeline.

I live in the area and know a couple of people who went to Nease and I know it's one of the most expensive private schools in NE Fla. Sandalwood, however, is a public school, the biggest in NE Fla....they're called the Saints FWIW. Sandalwood Link

People are also bitter about the Curtis summer school " Classes" that allowed Bama's starting Tailback to qualify.

Eddie you don't know shite man

Nease is a public school in St. John's county and nease's HS is 97% white. Sandlewood is in a so so area but not the same vanilla %.

My bad, everybody around here kinda thinks it's private cause it's in Ponte Vedra and it's hard to get into. You're also led to believe it's private because of those demographics you pointed out.
