I'm predicting it now: Lowell "Junior" Narcisse will be a 4-year starter for LSU and will win multiple NCs.

IN.

Adding a QB in this class was never NECESSARY. It was always about giving us more seasoned options in 2018 and beyond. Let’s say we sign Tanner Lee, and then #RideForNarcisse.

Right now, on the books we have:
2 years of Harris/Etling
4 years of Justin McMillan
for fun let’s say Tanner Lee gets his extra year of eligibility.

2016: Harris/Etling, McMillan
2017: Harris/Etling, McMillan/Lee, redshirt: Narcisse
2018: Narcisse/McMillan/Lee
2019: Narcisse/McMillan
2020: Narcisse/
2021: Narcisse/

We’re fine.

Narcisse is a project. He will struggle early in his career.

But you are right. He is the future.

Pretty clear based on your posting history that you're close to the Narcisse fam (or part of the fam). Try not to take too much of what is posted on the board to heart.

And condolences to the fam...

If Junior becomes more polished as a passer, he will be a game changer at QB.

in this current offense with Cameron coaching him, yes he will

BUT with an offense that fits today's game and an innovative OC, Narcisse could be wrecking shite in '19, maybe even '18....just have to play to his strengths early on

You people crack me up. It has been stated over and over that our down years are always with a young qb yet an uncommitted player is already the new #4Heismans

If you watched him play as a soph he was a very good passer -- what you have to realize is A) he has no offensive line and B) the number of passes that were dropped by his receivers. Then he tore the ACL and when he came back (albeit prematurely) his accuracy was off. Everyone knows that his return was rushed and he was only at about 85%. Even so he still had the strongest arm among all juniors at the UA All-America game. I expect him to continue to improve and to really light it up this summer at the Elite 11. Not sure if he'll choose to go to IMG or not; I think that depends on whether Coach Jenkins stays at SJH or takes the HC job at Lutcher (his alma mater).

IMO he resembles Deshaun Watson much more than Brandon Harris.

Well we definitely need him in purple and gold. That's for sure.

Unless we go spread Narcisse will struggle as much and possibly worse than Harris. Until I see a change in offense, I won't believe it.

Tired of the lies. LSU needs to be about that action next year.

How has narcisse recovered from his knee injury? I didn't follow him this past year after he committed to auburn

He reminds me of Michael Vick more than anyone. Well built athlete who is a very quick and elusive runner. Strong arm but needs to work on his craft as a passer a good bit.

He returned just 5 months after his surgery and led SJH to the 3A state championship game

Brandon Harris was 19 at the start of the season. A kid. I was disappointed with the way the season turned out, but all you guys were pumping him up and begging for him right up until les made him the starter. Why don't we let him grow like a kid is supposed to, and support the kid. Remember when people around him including his hs coach were encouraging him to jump ship. Harris took the right path, took responsibility for his immaturity and lack of performance, and earned the job this year. To me, that says a lot, and says he will be much improved again next year. I wanted a big time qb this year, and it doesn't look like that is going to happen. But it doesn't mean we won't have a qb that is descent for 5 years, it doesn't mean ccc should be fired, it doesn't mean les can't run a program, and it doesn't mean that recruiting class is a bust.

This is exactly correct. He has wheels and a deep ball. Everything else from a qb standpoint he needs work on. He has an elite set of tools to work with, but is really raw.
