Williams can be infatuated with Bama all he wants,he's not getting that offer. They'll land Hackenberg from VA if they want him. It's quite possible he never gets an offer from LSU either. If he does and still wants to go to MSU or KSU then more power to him. It's more likely that he just wants to see other places and vett his options rather than visit LSU again. He's been to LSU quite a few times and they probably told him to camp for an offer. Some kids don't like to hear that. I wouldn't fret over him until summer and we see if he camps at LSU or not.

Is it to early to jump on the "I don't give a sh*t about Diarse" train? Why does anyone want an LC repeat. Focus on Smith and Dobard

I agree but wouldn't concede Diarse just yet. He wouldn't come to Jr Day if there wasn't interest. I may be wrong but IMO he is interested in both LSU and bama.

Does anyone know if Robert Nkemdiche is coming this weekend?

No, I don't think he has a invite and it's unlikely we even try and recruit him.

Why don't you believe that we would try to recruit him? If I'm not mistaken, he has an offer, right? I thought I saw us listed as one of the two "Warner" schools on his 247 profile. just wondering.

I think we should definitely give it a shot, and start hard and early. Its a good idea to get on our state and all, but I hope we aren't too skittish to recruit a regional kid, who is not only the #1 kid in the nation, but plays a position we need to fill next year.

He has an offer but that is all. We typically don't get involved in those big recruiting battles and I don't think they will recruit him hard enough.

When you have a prospect like Robert, you have to recruit him day and night. You can't just call him once a month or start recruiting him heavily near the end of the process (i.e Mario Edwards).

Contrary to popular belief our staff is already heavily recruiting Nkemdiche and have been. We are in his top 2, 3 at worst depending if you believe the UGA stuff. We are the option if he chooses to play in a 4-3 rather than 3-4. He is 99% Bama and will be very hard to pull but we are trying. Just hope the staff doesn't pin any hopes or expectations on landing him over pusuit of other top kids. That would be a huge mistake. Fill our needs at DE and DT with other kids and then if by some miracle Nkemdiche wants in take him as a suprise or bonus.

Not a bad strategy. Offer every kid you can from Louisiana and keep them from committing to LSU because Bama is the flavor of the week.

Take 30-35 commitments and pull the rug from under the La. kids while LSU has already replaced them.

They made it to the first Jr Day so no worries yet. Desean has his offer. Lewis had car issues. He is one i wanted to see make it to possibly get his offer.

Saban offers 7-10 kids from La annually. People are just tripping about it now because he got 2 of the top ones last year. LSU will lose a few they want every year. the numbers dictate that, but we still get 80-90% of instate offers.
