No offense to the kid but DB is not a position of concern recruiting wise for LSU

part of me wants to chalk this up to him seeing the current situation with Stevens moving to receiver and knowing we'll most likely pull more top 5 safeties in future classes before he's able to see the field. A commit at safety in this class will need to be comfortable with special teams for awhile.

He is going to be a good DB, but at the end of the day that opens up a position for us to pick up a higher ranked DB. I think that whispers LSU is getting guys like Patrick Surtain might have helped him make that decision and I think overall it will be best for both LSU and Joseph.

Remember, the coaches at LSU want some of the best players, but they also want guys who will work hard and bleed purple and gold.

Not a decommitment that I would have preferred but it does open a slot for others.

DB we will stay strong at.
That is not a concern.

If his spot is filled with a tackle I won't be mad. Joseph is a baller tho

Glad it wasn't Kelvin.
As far as I'm concerned this opens the door to take both Surtain and Cook not have to process anyone to do it.

Surtain +
Kelvin Joseph +
Cook =

Absolutely yes

Any 2 of the top 4 cb's would be excellent.
