Roster spots are tight right now, but I agree. When we see a rotation player leave for the portal or declare for the draft, I expect we will see a portal offer to take their spot.

Not to white knight for the OP but the Florida 24/7 mods were completely caught off guard here as well. Sounds like Sage put his name in the Portal last night and the staff went full steam ahead on Gilbert to shut it down ASAP
