They're about to re-conquer Florida. Last years class was ridiculous and this year's is looking even better. The OP is dead on...FSU is back. I bet they beat Oklahoma.

I understand your hesitance to get too cocky about your team, but I think Doak Cambell will be rocking like it hasn't in a long time. On paper, it could go either way, but I really think ya'll are going to get up early and overwhelm them. FSU will win by 3.5 TD's.

Three things FSU needs to improve from last years matchup, in no particular order:

Sacks - One last year. DL is a big strength for FSU this year, need to get to Jones more often this time.
Penalties - 12 for 95 yards last year compared to 6 for 49 for OU. Terrible.

Rushing game - Just 123 yards last year for the Noles. Another position that will be a strength, especially with a QB like Manuel who has better mobility than Ponder did.

They won't even score that many TD's with that shitastic QB EJ Manuel.

I'm pretty sure no one is winning that game by 3.5 td's. That's probably one of non-conference games I'm looking forward to the most. And BS v. Georgia.

My money is on OU. Jones is a seasoned started and Manuel is pretty green. OU defense is going to be tough.

Regardless, their recruiting is back. They will have a better team than Fla this year IMO.

Doesn't Big Game Bob suck on the road against good teams?

Congrats they deserved him. thats four players Jimbo has gotten out of Bama this year. Hows he doing this?

I see a positive in FSU's reemergence as an elite recruiting power. Maybe Nicky would concentrate on defending Alabama and his hotspots on the FL panhandle than worrying about his pipeline into LA.

Georgia has been a bigger priority.

Jimbo is probably well aware of the talent around those parts also.

There had been talks that he would commit to FSU for almost a week now. Looks like it's gonna be Liggins/Lambert and Alford for LSU.

All we need is a decent QB.
LSU has the talent to win it all.
Strong recruiting classes every year puts LSU in the hunt and LSU has proven decent QB's can win National Championships.

The Good: FSU steals a top QB from Bama.

The Bad: LSU needed Bama to fill their QB scholly. Now it will come down to LSU vs. Bama for every top rated QB on our board.

The Ugly: ESPN's love affair with FSU. Where is the love for VaTech? Remember them ESPN, the football program dominating the ACC and beating FSU on the field?
