Definitely didn't mean to say that like it's what happened, just that I could see how that could lead to some awkward conversations in the ops building. Craig would be blacklisted if he ever pulled anything like that.
I didn't mean to insinuate that you did but it was one of the thoughts that crossed my mind. If, in fact, he's been offered by Bama why work hard to land a kid that will ultimately be your competition. Sadly, after Chavis/A&M, it wouldn't surprise me.

There's just a lot of smoke out there, some coming from the A.D., that there was a solid reason Craig was let go the way he was. As has been noted here, watch & see where he ends up.

How can you say that without knowing the reason?

Was the receiver play that great? Or was it the fact we had a QB that could actually find & hit the golf carts...
If O fired him, it was a personality issue or for a good reason...

Craig was a bad WR coach. He was bad at AU and bad at LSU. He was a good reason recruiter. Maybe Canada wants to actually use our talent at WR.
Jaluke didn't he miss on almost every player he recruited?

Is there anything you can contribute except some little girl bitching bull shite?

You asked how can I say that? It's very easy he is a great young coach, and he has ties to lower Alabama which is a pretty good area to recruit. He has been a wanted coach for several programs Flordia State, Oregon comes to mind. If he is headed to become an assistant offense coordinator on another staff it says something. If you ask about coaching ask T. Johnson about him as a coach and then ask DJ Chark. That's all. I know folks on here downvote quickly when its unpopular but Craig is not a bad coach. Hell we had bad Offensive coordinator for years, no QB development, no proper use of athletes, vanilla offense. You asked that and we had that for years. I dare not speak of the Head coach the last 5 years with all of the talant on the team. You guys ask about a good position coach like craig.

All you guys say craig lost this guy jaluke lost this guy, all of that is bullshite Coach O has to take blame as well. You could argue if Les was still the head coach we would have a top 3 class easy. Let's see how all of this works out, we took steps backward with the firings or reassignment. Check the players twitter. I hope O hires some great coaches, and all that Canada wants to bring in his guys is just easy to say

I posted a link earlier that shows this was not just about recruiting. The article implies a potential disagreement between Craig and O about the direction of recruiting. It also states he was originally to be released once coach O got the full-time job but they decided to wait until after in NSD. Nothing was suggested about Craig's ability to coach.

Okay, I was replying to Cajunduby! Who was questioning Craigs coaching and recruiting abilities. Thanks for the link!

I have a feeling that Craig losing out on Devonte Smith resulted in his firing. Also think the Guidry fiasco hurt. Hope the dude lands on his feet, but we need to lock La. down, and Craig couldn't get the job done.

I'm not questioning any of that. What I asked was: 'How can you say that without knowing the reason he was fired?"

Craig was actually told about January 2 that he was not going to be retained. I posted on January 3rd that one offensive coach and possibly 2 coaches would be let go.It was strickly a difference in opinion about how things should be done. yes it looks bad to fire someone right after signing day, but O gave Craig the opportunity to find another job(30 days) so it would not look like he was fired. He was not fired for his recruiting but how hard do you think he worked the last 30 days. With JJ, he just didn't produce. He has a job offer(high school)at a prominent school in NO if he wants it.

It is the norm to not fire coaches until after NSD
