Seriously? All this crazy portal activity, and those are the only offers he has? And some on this board are going nuts over this guy.

Wow, how the LSU standard has fallen.

The standard for quality conversation on this LSU board has certainly fallen. Case in point your post.

NFL All Pro Justin Jefferson had offers from Nicholls State, Northwestern and Tulane I think?

All Pro DE Khalil Mack had 1 scholarship offer from the University of New York(Buffalo)out of HS.

Foster Moreau was offered by Tulane, La Tech & ULL.

NY Giants All Pro DT Damon Harrison received 0 scholarship offers out of HS.

5x All Pro Antonio Brown had 1 scholarship offer out of HS.

Arizona Cardinals All-Pro running back David Johnson only had offers from Illinois State & Northern Iowa out of HS

Josh Williams was offered by CSU-Pueblo & Drake.

Aaron Rodgers & Philip Rivers each had 1 offer out of HS.

Lane Johnson, All Pro OT for the Eagles, went to Kilgore C.C. with one offer out of HS.

Super Bowl Champion Carson Wentz had 1 offer from N. Dakota St. out of HS.

Stetson Bennett was offered by Columbia, Georgia Southern, & Mercer.

Demarcus Lawrence, Dallas Cowboy 3x Pro Bowl DE, didn't have a single offer out of High School.

I could go on & on.. You never know for certain. Let's wait and see before we judge..

Bo Davis knows more about defensive lineman and their talents than you. Go change your tampon.

I just figured out one of the main problems with the LSU staff. They aren't using your genius ability to perform talent evaluations.

Looking at Pat Mahomes offer list always makes me laugh. This kid's offers were Texas Tech, Oklahoma St, and Rice. Kid was 6'3 over 200lb and put up monster numbers in high school yet was rated the 82nd best in Texas by 247.

It's the whole point of why scouting and talent evaluation is so key to have on your staff. It's why a school like Michigan can win a championship playing like Kirby Smart's UGA, pre Todd Monken with outside top 10 classes.

CBK mentioned in his press conference today that they aren’t done during this late signing period, could this be who he is referring to?

I’m really disappointed in our guys like Wingo and Smith that they didn’t want him to stick around once we got some better coaches that could have helped their development and put them in better position to make an impact

Feels like the staff had expectations of them back as well. Kelly said he expects everyone back when asked, so obviously his impression was they would be, or at least 1.

Wingo has had all sec success his fr and soph yr. I dont get mason Smith going at all... he had a horrible year. He could have come back, played full year 100% fit and build wise back.. and shot to 1st round potential

I wouldnt call him "Great" but hes got solid size to play inside and was VERY productive in JUCO which is honestly pretty rare (43 tackles, 15 TFL, 9 sacks). You dont typically see that kind of production from interior Dlinemen in JUCO at all.

I think worst case with him is you can count on him as a rotational guy and someone better than say Jalen Lee, De'Myrion Johnson, and maybe Shone Washington even...so as long as we're getting better players thats what we need inside. In an ideal world a guy like Johnson just redshirts and Jalen Lee is maybe your 5th DT, not a rotational 3rd/4th guy.

So this would mean we need to get 1 starter or rotational type DT in the spring portal period and we should have a Top 4 DTs for next year between that guy plus pick 3 others probably between Guillory, McKinley, Muhammad and Washington.

on a roster with 4 tackles currently, the fact that he has a heartbeat and wants to be here is good enough for me.

I'll give one of the greatest misses not on your list:
Cody Schrader RB Missouri whose only offer out of HS was Truman State...whoever the hell they are. And I believe his only offer out of there was Mizzou. But hey, Schrader was barely an FBS player. He only had 1627 rushing yards this season averaging 6 ypc.

We need several of these so I am happy if we get him. We need big bodies. That is a bad position to be thin (pardon the pun).
