Why should he listen to NS? He isn't the end all be all. He tells them anything they want to hear just like anyone else.

Even though what you typed is true, I believe Saban has a well earned reputation as a DB's / Secondary guru.

Drew Tate and Matt Jones beg to differ

At least he is staying with her.

Is this true because I know Alan Walker and Anthony Summers were from the 06 class that went to ole miss and Markeith Summers went to MS State

Jerrell Powe did not even know that he picked up the wrong hat. He couldn't even spell LSU until he went to Ole Mississippi and studied spelling in a one week crash course.

He can be serious. Drew Tate threw a touchdown pass for Iowa on the last play of the game to beat LSU in the Jan. 1, 2005 Capital One Bowl. Matt Jones threw a touchdown pass for Arkansas with seconds remaining to beat LSU in the 2002 regular season. Both plays happened when NS was Head Coach and defacto DB Coach for LSU.

Scouting Report:
Positives: A Leader. Others seem to follow as if he pioneered his position. Good fundamentals. Strong character. Always seems to make the right decision every time...even when others aren't. A winner...no matter the circumstance always seems to come out on top in the end. Experienced...seems like he has been doing this forever. Physical attributes make him an excellent listener.
Negatives: Not extremely tall or fast. Has very large hands but only four fingers which could make his transition to the next level difficult. Has a history of hanging out with a group of folks that can tend to be a bit goofy. Up until recently has been a two dimensional player only.
Offers: Everyone
Status: Currently only has interest in Florida and USC. Will be basically impossible to get him out of these two states for economic reasons. Had a fledgling interest in playing overseas but gave that up rather abruptly.

By that logic, there are NO great DB / Secondary coaches in college OR the NFL. In fact, there are NO great defensive coaches either. I'll assume you knew that, and were just being funny.

Well, then Ron Cooper and Chavis each suck balls as coaches because Mallett threw a 80 yard TD pass on the last play before halftime.

Touche - nobody is perfect. Not Nick Saban and not John Chavis.

I don't see anywhere in this thread where anyone said Nick Saban is perfect, some one said he is Great db coach, if you think 2 plays refute that claim you are a blithering idiot. If you think saying he is a great coach is a swipe at Miles or that it equates to saying Miles is a bad coach, indicates you have doubts about Les.

In court today the judge asked Minnie why the were breaking up and she said "Mickey said I was stupid"
Mickey fired back loudly and said " I never said she was stupid, I said she was fricking Goofy"
I think Mickey gets to retain his ears in the settlement.

I don't know a thing about J Collins - but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Les is already talking to some of the lower rated recruits about gray-shirting. If that's the case, I could certainly see someone like that re-thinking.
The dude is a 4-star 6-2, 4.46 corner with tremendous cover skills. Why would he be a candidate to greyshirt?
Now pair him up with another 4-star corner in David Jenkins, who is 6-1, one of the fastest athletes in Texas, and was rated the best cover corner in the nation, and you have a dynamic duo at CB for years to come.
