Yeah I said I was joking. I was mainly making fun of the people that flip out over kids deciding to go somewhere else.

I guess O is on DA level now too. He was wrong too. He thought they were getting Burch, RJ, and Burton too. So those giving Vol a hard time are essentially giving O a hard time. How is he suppose to know more than the coach?

great point. O and staff lost some big fish right at the boat. Hell, Burton literally flipped within an hour or so of signing. He and Jarrett were committed for MONTHS. It sucks and makes zero sense especially for Burton but WRs are usually easier to come by for LSU and there's some highly rated WRs in next years class that are local.

Perhaps the O-Line of the year will cause him to pause . . . and take another look at what LSU brings to being coached by a former NFL Line Coach.

Considering LSU just won the Joe Moore award for best OL in CFB I would hope he gives LSU another look. Cush was a 3 star and he's turned into a guy that likely will be playing on Sundays.

If he wants to make a "business decision" then LSU would be his best option.

Play for an OL coach that has SuperBowl and CFB hardware and a track record with guys like pro-bowl Tyron Smith. Block for a prolific passing team and a #1 RB. Play for your home state where you will get treated like a king.

Sounds like an easy decision to me.

It’s a lot easier to commit to a coach at UGA than Arkansas.

It's difficult when the assistant who recruited you the entire time is no longer there.
Plus Smart has a ton of linemen already committed

I think Clayton and Van Pran are both gonna let this play out and see if they can either get a package deal to LSU or maybe Ark comes through for both of them as well with Pitman in play

Yeah, I really wish we can gain some ground with SVP before Feb. But if not, a trade for one in our backyard for ANOTHER in their backyard would be a great deal.

Unless Van Pran has been secretly talking with LSU this would completely come out of left field.

His HOME STATE school is out of left field? For real???

You think he’s never heard of LSU?

I'd rather take another lineman or save the slot for next season than take Clayton.

Thankfully Coach O gets to make that decision. And I’m certain he understands the importance of having more than 2-3 scholly RBs.

Bugs speaks the truth on Vol who is the best fricking recruiting poster that we have. frick all of you diva arse pieces of shot who have been giving him grief since yesterday. Fact is several 18 year olds mislead the coaches and surprised us. Vol gets inside information and is not a mind reader of 18 year olds.

Ed Orgeron himself would have said the same things Vol was saying; in fact he did in the press conference I just watched. Essentially, he said “two or three guys said they were coming the night before signing day, but they didn’t. That’s recruiting”

It’s asinine to expect anyone to prognosticate with 100% accuracy where a recruit is going to go. There are way too many external factors at play. Fact is Vol has/had the same read on these prospects as the coaching staff did, straight from Ed O’s mouth. It ain’t a perfect science fellas.
