i think the recruit was just to embarassed to say he was called a "douche" by the board. instead he was like "they called me conceited and they dont even know me".

A lot of the people on this board are knowledgable, but then Boudreaux comes on with his lack of any knowledge pertaining to football, let alone recruiting, and somehow feels he's the guru that can spot talent on the other side of the bayou.
It does get old, and I wouldn't doubt we've lost recruits b/c of this board.
i agree with this.
its pretty gay that a recruit would get upset over a couple of posters ragging him. but i could see a recruit being turned off by a school if the majority of the fan base/people on a msg board dislike the dude or say he is going to be a bust.
i cant recall since i've been on here us dogging ANY recruit (BB was probably 50/50). even when 2 and 3 stars committ, granted you have your rantard who says "pull the offer, only 5 stars welcome", but outside of that guy he normally gets some pretty good praise.

I am certain the recruit is Jonathon McKnight and since he is just starting the process he is probably a bit sensitive and naive but that will go away and he will become just as jaded as everyone else

these guys get ribbed all the time by team-mates they generally are the toughest among us, not pussess, so if someone gets insulted, chances are something close to the truth was said.

Maybe the recruits these days should be educated about internet forums if they are not already aware of such.
