Isolated incident. I doubt it has any real impact.

I think it will be used somewhere on the recruiting trail.

I don't understand. Did the police plant guns and drugs on them?

Doubtful. Bama will continue to attract top flight players as long as Nick Saban is there.

Team will implode.
Saban will be forced to coach at UAB since no one will want him.
Recruits will decommit and run like Bama has the plague.

The only impact is he wont be able to deliver the weed to his teammates anymore.

No negative impact. Probably gain 2 more 5 star tackles.

Only possible impacts which may or may not ever come into play IMO: These are hypothetical by the way...

1: parents think Saban doesn't have their kids best interest in mind, as far as mentoring and disciplining.
Cam was allowed to get away w whatever he wanted at bama leading to an incident like this.
I doubt Saban had no idea the type of kid hootie and cam are if they are carrying ounces and handguns, maybe they failed at test or two? Maybe he could have put them in the dog house or gave them a reason to straighten up if they were troubled. (Seems like miles does this a lot)

Then again maybe this was just something he can't control

2. Some bama players trash talk La law enforcement (likely based off tweets) to recruits on visits saying the police are out to get them. Recruits feel for cam and develope negative attitude towards Louisiana.

In regards to number 1 I consider there a tyrann approach to a star player and a Jonny football approach to a star player.
One way saved tyranns career and maybe his life, the other possibly ruined jonnys. I don't know where Saban falls under this spectrum

As long as the dwarf still carries around his binder of 1st round checks, the same type of kids will be going there.

Losing a tackle as good as Cam could have an indirect effect. If it costs Bama a game or two, it could tarnish its reputation as a guaranteed championship a bit.

After Cam's charges get reduced and he serves his 1 quarter suspension against W Kentucky, it'll prob help their recruiting.

I have a feeling you are right.
If its any other college student its a felony and a huge hindrance to their employment choices for many years.
233 am, drugs and 2 handguns? this will be interesting for that big time lawyer he will certainly have.

No impact. Cam and Hootie will face minimal punishment. Probably a few laps.
