He was banned for basically fighting everyone on the site that mocked him and trying to bring in a recruit on the site to defend him. I guess basically no one who posts regularly on the recruiting board was around back then.

Jimmy would have some decent tidbits of info on some players, but he was very thin-skinned. If anyone even kind of messed around with him, he would go ballistic.

He had some kind of inside connection with a few 2010 recruits, and it led to either those recruits or their families coming onto this board, it was a complete train wreck.

I was not directly involved in any of those threads, fwiw.

It didn't come quickly. When he first started at NOLA, very few people here respected him, his opinion, or his sources.

I lurked back then. The boards were good. Dmitch was posting and we were all worked up about Randle. The RAT team was in full affect. The stevie douglas saga was priceless. Jimmy has calmed down a lot since then, and apparently anted up on his sources. He was not initially respected on this board, but I didnt mind his passion. We got along in our threads.

Then Mr. green would come in a post the initial line of a tigerbait update without the premium info and act like it was news. Funny stuff over the years. Lots of people died down, including jimmy, rohan, dmitch, lynx, and even lsufanva
