simply because his brother goes there? I'm not flaming or hating. I just can get that. This kid can go to any school he wants. Everyone would take him with open arms. He has it narrowed down between LSU and Ole Miss. I understand the love that brothers share...but if youre a Blue Chip D-Lineman, how do you not choose LSU. If you name the best 10 D-Lineman in the last 5 years for both schools, its like a "murderer's row" for LSU. Draft results and in-season production speak for themselves. I can't believe this kid would go to Ole Miss simply to play with his brother. The sky is the limit for him. Ole Miss will NEVER play for a SEC or NC title while his is there. Can anyone tell me other reasons he might go to Ole Miss besides his brother playing there?

He's smart enough to know he's a 1st rounder regardless of where he goes

His brother is some of the reason, but Ole Miss is doing a good job selling him on the idea of starting for 3 years

I'm pretty sure we sucked when Kevin Faulk committed to LSU.

So in your opinion, winning a championship doesn't mean anything to him?

He could start for 3 years here. Because we just out two DE into the NFL possibly in the first round.

It's his brother.

Same thing we said about Notre Dame over the pass few years.

All it takes is one special team and recruiting class to totally turn things around. I can name dozens of teams that have figured it out. PLus with teh talent they have coming in this class can be special for OLE PISS.

I have to sit back and really ask why come to LSU. He will be a top ranked draft pick barring no injuries or off the field issues ie ( Daquon Bowers and Honey Badger.)

Being realistic we said the same thing about CLowney. And more than likely he will never win a ring and still be a top pick.

So truely other than the CHANCE to play for national title can he get at LSU over OLE MISS? Especially with family and mom involved?????

That is thrown out the window when a kid lives 30 mins away and makes his home in that state.

Not really, but ok. You said they would never win an SECC, Faulk knew we wouldnt.

Their schedule year in and year out? This year is the PERFECT example.

Ole Miss will not play for any type of title in the 3 years RN is there. I'll lay you 200 to 1

You should just stop worrying about it, arguing over an 18 year olds decision on where to play football for 3 years may drag on a bit when you refuse to acknowledge that family>

I agree with you. I am not defending these teams that come from no where. I am not saying that isnt realitsic eitehr.

Auburn was one Cam Newton from title and we dogged them hard.

We were throwing welcoming arse whooping parties teh Aggies all over the south and they showed up and beat most due to the play of one exceptional player.

In both Cases those are QB's but hey I they need is one. In his mind with him and his brother they can make that a top 15 defense with a solid supporting cast.

I am just saying we are seeing this with purple and gold glasses. Take a step back and really put your self in thsi kids shoes. Think of the pressure at home and think of the opprtunity to look back in 15 years and tell his kids that he and there uncle locked down the SEC during the golden years.

Look at the fact that he will draw more attention away from his ball hawking brother and make him look better to get a better draft pick. I mean really people. I can give you 50 reasons why to choose Ole Miss over LSU if your RN.
