Only can wonder what could've been if he came here. Florida state wasn't a bad choice though, after a natty, heisman and potentially a no. 1 pick.

All the fresh seafood would have been too much to resist.

Miles would have ruined him.

I'm not even going to lie. Two years of Stud. Does anybody realize that a sick Krags was our only QB coach for two years, and that was AFTER we squandered 4 years without a QB coach (you can call Crowton a QB coach all you want, I won't).

Love Miles, but that was 6 years of wasted coaching and QB development.

I remember his recruitment. We had a shot, but it was an outside shot. I think it was an FSU/bama battle with LSU a distant third. If anything, our baseball team was a major reason I think he considered us. I never really thought he would come here.

Why ruin our streak of under-performing QBs out of high school.

Funny how ESPN had Bama as one of his choices though when he made his selection.

Just for the record, I'm never being serious with blanket statements like that. While Miles QB record has been inconsistent, it's not nearly as terrible as some suggest. I agree Crowton stunted a lot of development. Stud was never a long term solution as OC, but after going undefeated all the way to the NC game it's hard to justify removing him from the position. After the offense under performed in '12, Miles did what he needed to do. We're going to see how valuable Cam was in fixing our QB problem over the next two seasons.

we missed out on a few qbs. we were really close to having a dynasty, just a qb away.

We were offering Eli Rogers and subsequently getting Teddy Bridgewater away from getting some hardware
