Strike 1 Ironhead985.
Rule #1
Never assume anything about anyone.
Better for people to think you're a fool then post something like this and remove all doubt.
As far as a walking contradiction, you can assume that about any fan base.
For any Bama fan to say that LSU isn't a rival is plain stupid and a lie.
FYI, I have a different name on the Bama board because that name was taken on this board.

rubble you know why more about Fluker than anyone on here. Why did or would he leave McGill for Foley? I am assuming that they (McGill) gave him a scolly, they are just as good if not better in Football and it is not cheap to live on the Eastern shore (Think Mandeville etc Louisiana people) or and not a lot of Black folks living over there either, so is there a reason for this?
Did he not like McGill get kicked out of McGill, a coach change or they not renew his scholarship or something. They were top ten in 6A those years weren't they?

The investigation: Probably none. Some may look at it and think a little differently, namely parents, but not enough for anything to change.
If something actually comes from this: 20 5*'s. LSU stacked SEC fuuuucckkked

Agents are a massive problem for ALL COLLEGE PROGRAMS
The implication is that Alabama is using it's connections to provide improper benefits to its current players.
Alabama is connected on BOTH sides...the players and the agent.

The Bama talking heads are laughing their arse off. They said NCAA couldn't investigate a filmed transaction.

He did not get kicked out of McGill, had a great reputation there (my alma mater & had a nephew on the team with Fluker).
He left after his sophomore year with his family to move to Biloxi, and returned to Foley for his Senior year.

At the moment the only investigation ongoing is Bama's internal investigation. How that "process" eventuates will determine a great deal
The Yahoo! documentation is unequivocal: Fluker took benefits that rendered him ineligible. Any games in which he played after agreeing to take the benefits will be vacated, by Bama as part of a self-sanctioning, or by the NCAA as part of a more severe penalty. The internal investigation has to determine when Fluker's eligibility was lost and all games after that will be vacated. One date Yahoo cites is November 4, 20012 -- in New Orleans. So Miles and Saban will be back to 3-3 and Bama will be sending at least one Crystal Football back. So Florida, LSU and Bama are tied with two each.
Bama could maybe also self-impose a few slaps on the wrist upon itself in the self-sanctioning -- as Tennessee and Miss State are likely to do, but there is a possible problem that Bama might not be able to sidestep that the other 2 schools do not face. As a former player of Saban, Luther Davis is by definition a Bama Booster (if my recollection of the rules is correct). As the bag man in all of these violations, his central role is fully Bama's responsibility -- even if no one else at Bama knew anything about it; schools are entirely culpable for their boosters' actions. This is a major infraction. it isn't clear when these infractions began or if Bama had yet cleared its probation over the books scandal. If not, then Bama is subject to the death penalty. Perhaps another poster knows when that probationary period ended.
In either case, the role of Davis prolly calls for sanctions along the lines of bowl bans and more than a couple of schollies for a year or two if Bama is held wholly responsible for Davis' actions as a booster.
So it is unclear how Bama will approach its self-sanctioning. If not severe enough, the NCAA will pile on more. So it you are a 5* recruit, are you going to be inclined to go to a school where at least 2 of the 3 years you are going to be there, you will not be involved in any post season games? To a school that has spent the majority of the BCS era on probation? To a school flirting with the death penalty? Said recruit and his parents will have to pause before making that choice. These issues will remain an uncertainty until Bama self-sanctions and the NCAA accepts, or augments them. Then the penalties themselves will have whatever effects they produce.
This cloud will also stress the team until it is resolved. It's the sort of distraction that Saban hates -- as his last press conference demonstrated. And the press is not going to stop asking about this festering issue. Will we see Saban explode?
Is the author the only one guilty of feeling extreme schadenfreude?

No matter what becomes of this it's obviously time for the powers that be at LSU to take whatever steps necessary to address the situation .

I love that it's the drama queen Luther Davis getting Bama in hot water. They just had to have him, had to steal a kid from Louisiana.
Then he barely helps on the field, fails in the nfl, then gets Bama into a scandal.

Wasn't this the same problem for the Bama tackle that played in the Sugar Bowl against Utah? I think his name was Andre Smith or something. Dealing with an agent. So did Saban turn a blind eye to Fluker?
