He is a very good running back. He is getting kind of big but doesn't seem to be losing much speed. His sophmore highlights are exceptional as well. He has a lot more power running, violent style, run over and through people style. His Junior highlights showcase his speed and agility alot more. Maybe the coaching staff was preaching to him to not put so much wear and tear on his body and to take less of a pounding. Though I'm not sure that is the case. He will be able to run how ever his college coaches need him to depending on the situation. It will be a fight for his signature but IMO he ends off at LSU. But it will be best not to to get worked up over his recruitment and spend a bunch of time worrying and just let it play out. Unfortunately between now and February 2014 there will be hundreds of LF threads posted on this board but in the end I think he ends off in P&G, just my take.

+ 1,000,000,000 This is exactly how I feel. I hope to see him play in person next season.

Is he projected to be the top RB in his class?

He's the #1 running back and #4 overall player on 247's Top 247 for 2014

You can see some of the other RB LSU has offered in this thread: 2014 LSU/Louisiana Prospects

Pretty impressive that two different ppl have seen enough of his Jr highlights to break them down when he's only just finished his sophomore season of HS

To answer the op... When multiple great football coaches that coach against him say he is a once in every 20 years type player..he's pretty damn good. We are loaded every year in Louisiana at the RB position, but LF could be the best in recent memory.

Homeindadome, great post and I agree. This board is going to be hell next year. I'll still be here though. Best bet for everyone is to not get too involved with the Fournette recruitment. It's going to be epic and possibly probation material. I'll let those who choose to argue back and forth, do what they do. I'll just post my thoughts about where he's headed as the situation changes.

Alabamawalker, yea we know, he is a bama lock. Him and 24 other topped ranked Jack LBs will sign with bama every year. Haha. No in all honesty Bama is a threat. They are and will always be a threat with tons of top ranked prep players around the country. Just like LSU. And there is a big possibility Saban can pull him, I just feel like he will end up at LSU. Again that's just my opinion.

Books, haha thanks man for pointing that out. I think most know what I meant. Last years( his sophomore highlights) seemed to be a more finesse style( but still very impressive) than his highlights from the year before( his freshman highlights).

LSUFANVA, I agree 100%. There a lot more petty bickering/ girl drama on this board then there was two or three years ago when I first started reading this board. Not just because of newbies but also from "veterans" with a sense of entitlement who never post anything football related just insulting/derogatory comments belittling people. I've managed to avoid it so far and still plan to do so. And there will be alot of LF threads that will be 4,5 pages long with no real info in them but I'll just post my opinion in the best way possible.

Agreed. Can't understand the "once every 10 year prospect."

That's a little ridiculous.

All the TALK about him being this or not being that doesn't matter to LF... Spoke with the kid briefly at the AUG alumni camp Saturday and he is very humble... Still feels he could be MUCH better and is looking forward to improving... I'm predicting that after this up coming season is over there will be a lot more Knights to talk about!!

both his freshman and sophomore highlights are in the 2014 LSU/Louisiana Prospects thread. He's the first running back in the thread..
