Anyone who has seen film of Fournette over the past two years knows he's a special back. He's got a similar running style to Michael Ford (loves to use his speed to get to the edge and turn it upfield), but the big difference is that Fournette has a much bigger frame and he's a more natural pass catcher coming out of the backfield.

Crutch is so anti-LSU he thanked them on Facebook for allowing TM7 and the rest to mentor the Aug Kids..

If fournette is wise he'll be in P&G.

He's a great player, but with the way the depth chart looks/will look where are more carries to be had in baton rouge. I think both fournette and Bo scarbrough, who is high on alabama, will end up at RB in college. Bama has 2 great backs committed for this cycle with the likely addition of Derrick Henry down the road and a good chance at landing scarbrough.

The only way I think he ends up in tuscaloosa is if he just vastly perfers alabama to LSU or just wants to leave home for school. All things being equal and location playing no factor at all e'd be crazy not to sign with LSU, but sme kids do prefer going away from home for school.

All that said, if you could only get one, do most of you prefer Fournette or Robinson?

That's not really a fair question. Robinson is already a lean, and plays a position of much higher import than Fournette. But Fournette is a transcendent talent at the position he plays. You can't really have an either/or between a Left Tackle and a Running Back.

Sure you can

Bo scarbrough and Marlon Humphrey are considered bama leans and both top ten nationally. I'd like both, but would rather have scarbrough the RB than Humphrey the CB, even though we're loaded at RB.

In the end I think the 2 from LA end up at LSU and the 2 from bama end up at bama.

Seems like a deep class in both states and holy shite at the talent in virginia this year, unreal

Maybe, but if he wants a shot at RB it will be offered to him. Bama wanted brent calloway at LB too and let him start out at RB

i wonder if him playing for st. aug and a catholic league school has undue influence on peoples' perceptions of him. i don't think anybody would be calling him football Jesus if he was on Bonnabel or Bogalusa

There is 0% chance of him moving to LB. He will look at the depth at bama and LSU and realize his chances of being the workhorse is much greater at LSU. Everyone just needs to relax and let Les and Frank work their magic.

For those who were curious to know: NOLA.com photo of Fournette lil bro Lanard(2015) at the Alumni Camp... Very swift runner with crazy cutting abilities... Made his one and only debut last yr in the East Jefferson game...

Leonard Fornette is so strong
When he works out the machine gets bigger.

Leonard Fornette is so fast
When he scores a touchdown
it's in the next time zone.

Leonard Fornette is so elusive
When he makes a cut
his shadow breaks an ankle.
