Any update on his ACT score? That may be the biggest thing going in LSUs favor

Young black head coach connects with young black superstar players. Not a tough concept. They play an exciting brand of offense thats easy to sell.
Now contrast those factors with LSU.

this is a superlative in today's CFB…. it doesn't have to be necessarily the head coach, but having young, black position coaches on staff DOES improve chances of reeling in talent…

for those about to pick this apart, i'm not saying it's the ONLY thing, but it definitely helps…

Guess Gerald and his bro aren't don't trolling LSU and playing games.

I saw Malachi Dupre at the Alerio Center in Westwego yesterday wearing an LSU football jacket.

If he wants to talk, we talk. It's not over till the ink drys. We still need to work on convincing him that LSU is where he needs to be (even if his brother is trying to influence him, we don't need to prove him RIGHT - we are better than that).

(FWIW. This isn't true for all recruits that spurn LSU or talk badly about LSU - those you just let go and they can think what they want)

Are you telling me that Willis wouldn't consider playing next to Valentine for 3 years! I'm still scratching my bald head on this one...G.W., what are you thinking????? This class is going to the NC! And you could be the MVP at the big game...dude, Florida is going no where fast!

I think he made an odd choice as far as opportunity
If Fla. fails to turn it around he be might be playing for a coach he didn't care for in the recruiting process. Add the dept the Gators have at his position. That was not in my top 2 guesses for sure.

i'm not sure we were bringing him specifically to move him inside, but i think the staff feels like if he grows into a DT, whatever… he wants to stay at DE (more $ down the line as a DE vs. DT)

willis may realize he screwed up.

But I wouldn't put much in to it cause I cant say I trust him with anything but stringing us along.

I wouldn't save a scholarship based on his actions.
