I haven't heard much on Kenny young is he expected to come to LSU probably mentioned a thousand times but I haven't read constantly.

Probably never considered LSU sadly. Let's be honest, he has given NO pro-LSU signs period. We've only heard about him being an LSU guy, but nothing from him similar to Speedy Noil, Tony Brown, Gerald Willis. Adoree Jackson has shown more pro-LSU stuff than any of those guys and we are not likely to land him either.

Speedy 1 or 2 wr??? Honestly I didn't really care if we got him of not he is a 5'10" 175lbs fast fast kid. I wanted Quinn more much more than speedy. Best of luck to speedy and would of been great to have him but some people are acting like he's Calvin Johnson and he's not that at all

But you guys love Jarvis and Odel, and they are all roughly the same size. You guys have figured out how to use denial as quite the coping mechanism.

skilled positions is no problem... let's get some linemen... offense and defense! everyone seems to get too focused on the skill position players and forget about getting top quality linemen... it all starts up front!
I have already said that losing Willis was the biggest loss, I don't think anyone here can really say otherwise.

Speaks, Valentine, Carter, McDowell, Kelly, Rodriguez. There are your linemen, just need to land them

We really need LBers too. I don't think Young is coming. His recruitment seems to parallel some f the other NOLA kids in that I don't see where he has ever really said LSU was a priority for him.

Jarvis 6'1" 195 with great hands obj is 6'195" with great hands. Speedy is 5'10" 175 which is a big difference and he rarely lined up as a WR in high school. Like I said would of been great to get him but I'm not losing sleep about it at all getting Willis or brown would of been much more of a boost for us than speedy.

Did you see Speedy murdering those 5 star DBs? whatever helps you get over this.

And he made never missed a beat after lining up on the outside as soon as he got to Orlando, with many saying he was the most impressive recruit that participated all week.

Well, we certainly agree on that

On Willis I agree, but what is interesting is that he claims he never wanted to be a DT, which is what LSU wanted. Says he wants to be DE and Fla was cool with this.

Kenny Young a few days ago at Army game...

quote:

Young added the coverages and the schemes have been simple but that it's needed for everyone on the team to get on the same page before the Army Bowl on Saturday at Noon.

"I's going great," Young said. "Some of the top guys are here, Ed Paris, Trey (Quinn), Clifton Garrett – some of the guys that I'm familiar with so I've been kicking it with them. I'm having fun right now."

LSU fans may get excited that he's been hanging out with the LSU commitments in San Antonio but they may not be as excited to hear what he had to say about his upcoming official visits.

One day after saying that he would take official visits to LSU, UCLA, Texas A&M and Miami, Young clarified those statements and said that only the UCLA and Texas A&M visits were locked in stone out of those four.

He plans to travel to College Station on January 17 and then to UCLA on January 31. He will also take a visit to Oklahoma State as well.

Young added that he is very much still considering LSU but just didn't know if he wanted to use one of his officials to visit the school that he's been to so many times before.

"I'm still thinking about it," Young said.

No idea man. NOBODY can compete if they have defections like last year and what is shaping up this year. I dont care who you are.

The College level will be much faster than the speeds he familiar with at the HS level. He will go against players taller than him with same speed, should be interesting.

this can't keep happining. Les has got to start keeping some of these fringe RS Soph and Juniors around. Do they not see what happened to Sam and the others that are struggling to stay on teams? Is a very paltry Signing Bonus worth wasting another year of progress and work?

it irks the GD shite out of me.

Its a culture problem. Not problem is the word, but its the culture of the team, university, and staff right now.

man. I dont Fn get it.

the little SB they do get cannot be worth it.

How about the staff bring in a couple ex nfl speakers and have a little pre decision class ?

go over the financial aspects of making such a stupid and rash decision.

these two days are wearing me thin.
