We're getting the two best dbs from Texas this year. shite happens, but this he wasn't recruited hard enough by Lsu is just canned BS. There are ex Bama asst. coaches up there and he just wanted to go to Bama. Now he will have to live with it. We have some fantastic dbs coming in without him. Want guys who want to put on the p&g.

Some kids and parents are turned off by the continuous contact and aggravation.

Can't win em all

Best of luck to him and I hope we make him regret the decision.

If we get who we're projected to get then our WR/DB class will be ridiculous. Someone will have to play S. If we get Adams then it will make us forget about Hootie easily. Adams is every bit as good as Hootie and arguably better in coverage.

Don't doubt the young mans comments, but the truth is, if he really wanted to be a tiger, he would have chosen the tigers. Instead, he chose to be a gump, now he's nothing more than tiger bait.

Nick and his staff's ability to spin things makes this meaningless.

Question:
"What was it about Alabama, that in the end, made it the right choice?"

Response:
"I guess, I was just thinking about my family."

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't his family like LSU? This phrase comes up alot when recruits choose Bama. They are always "thinking about their family." If he really wants to go to Alabama, go for it, but this statement insinuates that his family is benefiting from him going to Bama which coincides with other stories I've heard about some inappropriate benefits being passed.

I am inclined to agree with the earlier poster. Where there is smoke, there is fire, and there is a lot of smoke in N. LA right now.

so mommy said Bama was the best place to be, your besties Cam Dee and Cam Dum said Bama was gosh diddly great and they just loved you so hard...yet last night and this morning you wanted to go to LSU.

gtfo.

recruiting is the most important part of college football, so if you're a big fan like most people here it's hard not to pay close attention to it, but shite like this makes you not want to worry about it at all.

EVERYONE thought that till mommy got butthurt because she didn't have a servant girl during their visit for the A&M game.

then suddenly mommy thought Alabama was "more genuine" which no recruit has ever, EVER said when comparing Saban to Miles.

This is likely the truth. He has his reasons for going, and I seriously have no doubts that LSU's recruiting in the area of North Louisiana have been sub-par if not down right awful. People will do anything to defend this staff and especially Les, but he's done a poor job in some things. He's not infallible and has weaknesses.

Instead of assuming Bama is doing everything dirty imaginebale to get these kids, LSU fans should start looking at Les and others. Maybe their strategy is that Louisiana should sell itself to some of these local/in-state kids and they focus their energy out of state.

I tend to think that is a large part of the issue. Yes, we do well in East Texas, but we shouldn't have to be settling for one of the other with the money given to these guys.

Everyone who keeps saying that we got outworked realizes that Alabama's recruiting budget is two or three times bigger than ours, right?

Right?

I don't doubt their compliance dept is a bit less strict as well.

I think some folks see it this way, God knows I would if it was my kid. Some must see it in a positive light. But I will be damned if some college limp dick is going to dominate my childs time and energy with incessant badgering.

Those coaches aren't your friend, you are their paycheck nothing more, nothing less, they care about you being eligible and your 40.

Sure, because I mentioned the trend of losing N Louisiana players to various teams must not all be about other teams cheating and perhaps there is some truth to the staff not recruiting the area hard enough.

Miles is a good coach. His staff may be letting him down, we simply don't know, but I find it hilarious that for some of you he and his staff can do no wrong in recruiting, and it must be the other guys cheating.

Mama Jones said that she is happy because she wants her son at a place with family values that's gonna look out for him the best? And she thinks that's Alabama?

What do you mean, we got Im from Louisiana playing on the speakers we even bleep out the part about murder and dope. We are all about family values.

I will say that I would pay money to have my kid NOT have to see this jackass.
