He's the last guy I would expect to pick Monroe to be a Tiger. Any news out there I don't know about?

I wonder how long he held the mouse over the submit button before clicking it? Had to hurt his wittle soul

I really don't put much faith into Hamm whether his crystal ball predictions are to A&M or elsewhere. He's an emotional person and he brags about his predictions, yet flip flops on every single one until he gets them "right".

That being said, I'd definitely guess LSU isn't out of it for Monroe by any means. I just can't figure out how many possible DBs we are going to take. Good Lord.

I heard Tyron Johnson was giving A&M a last second chance...

The Aggies were trending earlier this spring but if The Opening was today he would choose LSU. The Top247 defender has been going back and forth with his leaders but after talking with him this week it sounds like he’s set on announcing for the Tigers in July on ESPN. Monroe will keep his recruitment open and visit College Station officially even if he commits to the Bayou Bengals. A&M is running second behind LSU at the moment so technically there is time to make up ground but it will be tough for John Chavis’ staff considering he’s already been to Aggieland three times this spring and has no plans to return anytime soon.

I've said for a while now that Monroe will be a Tiger. North Shore doesn't let their studs ruin themselves in College Station. The only question now is, will Deontay Anderson be wearing P&G too?

I posted about a month ago that my source in Houston spoke with Christian Wallace people and they said LSU led for Monroe. Wallace and Monroe play on the same 7 on 7 team. Wallace looking for a LSU offer at july camp and will commit if offered. he is 6'2, 210 so he may be a lb. only place we might have room.

Aggie_E said... (original post)Not getting Monroe would be sad. LSU is gonna sign 4-5 elite cornerbacks and 4-5 elite DTs. The Chief leaving seems to somehow benefited LSU in recruiting and not so much for A&M

the chief leaving is a huge recruiting benefit. I don't think orgeron and chief would have worked. also, no way we get all 3 bama 5* to visit at once w/o steele and no way we get a commitment from smith w/o orgeron.

If we get Monroe and Anderson the Ags would lose it

It's like they didn't want to listen when we said Chavis doesn't recruit.

They're losing top recruits to the big dawgs of the SEC and battling it out with Texas, TCU and Baylor for the rest.

Monroe has been all Lsu, he just tried to hide it. If he doesn't choose LSU in the end it's because of the depth chart.

I especially enjoy Texas and A&M fans acting like we lost Oliver to Houston since he never had any interest in either of them
