There's no such thing as a lock.

I hope this is something all Tiger recruiting fans learned after the UA All-American game.

Y'all actually have about the same numbers as we do and run almost exclusively 2 and 3 WRs sets

No we have 5 receivers who are coming back that will actually have a legit chance to play. We have another 3 on board and Dupre as our last one for a total of 9 which is perfect for 3 WR sets.

Cam will also install his whole package next year and we are possibly looking at 3-4 WR sets as the norm and 5 "receiver" sets more frequent. IMO we may only have 4 WRs at the most even in our best uptempo because we have some athletes at TE.

Well this is just too easy...

Great looking kid, is he high on us?

ETA: He showed a little bit of everything in that reel, except incredible speed. Def a good looking prospect though.

Indeed!

I really like this kid, he's a complete WR with that build/frame. If he catches consistently like those highlights (does seem to have "soft hands") then I'd say he's one of those "under the radar" kids and underrated (by how much I can't say).

ETA: yah, it's obvious. nothing wrong with a kid promoting himself... especially when he's got something to offer.

Can you give us a breakdown on his size and attributes? Maybe some stats or where LSU and him stand right now?

Melvin Holland Jr BriarWoods High
As McSorley's go-to target out wide, the senior wide receiver was one of the most electrifying playmakers in the state as he hauled in 64 passes for 1,032 yards (16.1 yards per catch) with 17 touchdowns for an offense that averaged nearly 40 points per game, second-best in the state in Class 5A.

I live in VA and Holland gets a lot of press. Hes a dynamic athlete. It would be great to get him down to BR for a visit. Its crazy some of these sites only have him as a three star.
