He would pick up enough in Fall practice to get a good start, and by the time we get into the meat of the schedule he should be ready to start.

Hell it looks like we will have open scholarships anyway with the way our recruiting class is now

Only downside I could see is speculation it could make Harris unhappy then transfer or he becomes a cancer in the locker room. That's pure speculation though.

Harris would be a fool to transfer out before the 2016 season. That team will be STACKED!

Harris is our guy. We simply have to start him next year and see what we have got. luckily the first game is not against a formidable opponent, so he is able to get the jitters out. After another training camp. hopefully he is ready. But even if he struggles, we have to let him struggle and see what he has got. He showed signs of promise last year, and also signs of disaster, but next year we have to cut him loose.

Is anybody else not sold on the fact that he is better than Jennings or Harris?

Don't know about Harris, but good God who's worse than Jennings? Maybe Driskell? Rivers?

I say tell Golson to pack his bags and head south. Let him and Harris battle it out.

I would rather find depth in HS that will have time to develop into potential leaders of the program.

We don't know about Harris because he didn't get enough snaps

We know he's not working hard enough to be QB at LSU

Hopefully that changes

JJ was so much better than Jennings that he very well may be Jennings ceiling

He was academically ineligible for a year. The article here said the SEC would have to approve the transfer. A transfer to LSU, the SEC will never let that happen for next fall.

If he chose to transfer to Alabama or Auburn, however, it'd be a sure thing . . .

You guys have a short memory if you think JJ was better than Jennings. Especially if you compare sophomore seasons.
