I think so.

He's an upgrade over Jennings but I honestly don't think he'd give us much in the SEC. He's a TO machine and while he had decent numbers at ND, he's playing against much better competition in and out. He actually looked much worse than the other QB when we played them. If they kept him in they probably would've lost the game with how he wants to hailmary it up when he's getting his head dragged into the ground.

This guy would be sitting in a corner by himself with how much he turns the ball over. You know Les Miles couldn't take it.

LSU's system has a way of making QBs look worse than they are too due to how handcuffed it is.

What was his cheating thing all about anyway? I'm not sure I want him near the team just from that.

It's January, and the season starts in 9 months so I sincerely doubt he would be able to know the playbook by then. Also, I don't think he can execute the toss dive well enough for us. JMO

I'm all for this transfer. Will make great competition with Harris and could allow Harris to redshirt, which would give him a year to mature. Harris then would be the QB for the next 2-3 years.

People don't realize that his junior stats are eerily similar to Russell Wilson's at NCST.
