Just noticed, IF LSU signs Moses & Wilson, LSU has 5 of the Top 22 in the ESPN 300. Insane.

Yeah that's pretty crazy. When it said Kary Vincent was the number 2 overall corner in the country I was like wtf?? Always count on ESPN to be in left field lol. Always good for signing day though when ESPN broadcasts to the entire country.

Edit: not saying Vincent isn't worthy of the number 2 cornerback spot, just saying there's always a huge disparity in ESPSNS rankings compared to other sites.

ESPN has become #2 behind 247 by default.

There is plenty of time to "adjust" the rankings.

I actually think ESPN is pretty good in some areas of recruiting. Sometimes quarterback when compared to the others.

Definitely 247, then ESPN when it comes to recruiting.

Just my preference though.

ESPN seems to have a pro-Texas/Florida/Louisiana/Georgia bias. Especially Georgia, it's insane.

I think their resources are concentrated in certain areas. They don't do a great job of evaluating guys from obscure states.

Rivals is hands down the worst! They have gone to trash since being bought out by Yahoo

Really? I just got back to following recruiting after the whole "5 for 5" fiasco. But back then Rivals was just behind 247. At least I thought it was. How is scout?

Back in the day, Rivals was the "go to" recruiting site... Scout was behind them... and then ESPN...

247 came along and passed everyone up when the others started selling out... ESPN started to get their shite together too...

Rivals is an absolute shell of what it used to be... Scout's format is terrible now... those two are the last places i check out...

Dandy and TD have been my go to for a long time, however... many times info here is much better and faster to arrive than pay sites...

Don't know why people consider the composite to be the gold standard. Too much Gump bias. The only problem I find with ESPN is people don't stay at the very top positions until the end because they need a little drama with who the top player(s) commit to..:again and again.
