Probably meant to use the "will" instead of "would".

Chase Pittman went to Texas and came back and played great at LSU. I hope I got his name correct?

well, he has Austin Thomas' number. All he has to do is give him a call and have an initial conversation with the compliance department.

As long as he understands there are both transfer and eligibility rules and he won't be able to pick up at LSU (or anywhere else) like UT never happened. Now that he's got a taste of being away from Mom and can make up for his own mind if her pushing him to UT was in his best interest or the best interest of her own fandom he has the power to make such choices.

Some players respond well to a change of scenery.

I suppose the coaching staff could manage around the 85 man scholarship limit okay.

I think there's a direct correlation to attention whoring, flip flopping and maturity and sometimes intelligence.

Players who do this and have all of the shenanigans are at a minimum immature and egotistic and possibly just dumb fricks.

Therefore, it's not surprising at all when they flame out because they probably aren't used to working hard and not being the center of attention.

I would hope the staff wouldn't bother with this guy. He could've been at LSU if he wanted to be. Instead he told our coaches what they wanted to hear and waited until the last possible minute to give them the finger and jump ship. Besides, if his work ethic and grades were so poor he couldn't hack it at UT, he wouldn't make it here either. Have fun in juco.

only reason why Chase ended up at LSU was because his brother Cole tragically died in a single vehicle crash while driving back to UT. Chase had troubles coping with his brother's death and decided to move away from Austin, to many vivid reminders of Cole.

I once lived in that area close to Clemson and after living in Louisiana I could not live there again. That area is basically boring!

Sounds as if he was torn on signing day. I can give forgive a high school senior for making that kind of a mistake....If he's still interested in LSU and LSU still could use his talent, sign him up.

Dude, he stayed home. Yes it was last minute, but it was his home school.
Don't let your anger blind you. Our coaches job is to get the best talent available to join this team, they shouldn't hold a grudge! That's dumb.
If he wants in, no problem if we have the need and room for him.
Trust me, he'll have his choice of schools
