If this were a list of only the RB's I might agree, but it's not.

[quote]BTW it might still turn out that Hilliard might be one of the misses and be worth a top 25 but we are too emotionally invested in that decision to take a clear view. [/quote

Your right..He's a top 5 back no doubt. He is working on his speed this spring and offseason. IF that improves going into season, and he gets more seperation on the second level, he will move up... Thats his only minor flaw at the moment, at D1 level he's not gonna out run second level guys, YET

don't know how the rest of his season went, but he was a complete non-factor in the Dome. Not all that great on the film available. Makes me wonder how he racked up all those sacks his soph year. Anyone know where there's more film available or what his stats were this year?

I played against the #64 kid on that list. Didn't think he was anything special. Good for a HS player? Certainly yes, but still weird that he's one of the top 100 players for next year in the nation. Actually better at RB than LB, I thought. Just interesting stuff to think about.

Do you really need to wonder why his stats were so outrageous?

You have a stacked Evangel team that could beat most 5A teams playing against terribly out gunned, out manned 2A teams that they could beat with their 3rd team. So you get those terrible 2A teams trailing early and having to throw on every down to try and keep up, and you have Rosco pinning his ears back and running through small 2A tackles that he outweighs by 25 + pounds in most cases.

What do you get? Inflated stats. Just like their inflated offensive stats.

He didn't do much in the dome against a Curtis line that could match him size wise.

His 40 time is atrocious. When he drops that this summer, and he will, he will go up in the rankings.
