LSU and Louisiana show up pretty favorably, as expected.

We get him and Collins, our left side will be dominant.

Yeah that would be correct

And they have 7 recruits out of Louisiana in the top 100 on that site if I'm counting correctly..

Hilliard is 42nd.

La'El Collins is 4th, Anthony Johnson is 7th, Jarvis Landry is 25th, Greg Robinson is 32nd, Sedrick Flowers is 54th, Jermauria Rasco is 62nd, Bradley Sylve is 67th. Terrance Magee, Corey White, and Jeremy Hill all made the watch list.

Yep. Huge year for the state. Several kids also listed in "Watch list" section at the bottom as well.

Rasco is WAYYY to low at 62. He needs to be Top 30 at least. 5* lock

And Alonzo Lewis.

Holy hell, I can't wait to get this 2010 class in the barn and get started on next year's class because it could be one for the ages when you look at the out of state guys that we're getting a serious look from (Clowney, Bridgewater, Nigel King, Jabriel Washington, etc. I don't think I'm pumping sunshine when I think it COULD rival the UF class of this year (and while it's not ranked that high due to number of committments, the Texas class).

I also look for Gonzales to get us into the running with some of the guys that have us listed in Florida.

I still think our chances at landing Bridgewater wouldve been a lot better had we taken Corvin Lamb this year. The kid's gonna be a playmaker at the ville.

It is supercalafragilistic that we have 2 in the top 10 already and a chance to land a class equivalent to Florida's this year.

Obligatory note : Rankings don't matter, stars don't show heart ...... but (irrationally) when the rankings, stars align with players that we want (and with hope get), we are happier.

The Texas premium sites think that #61 on the list Trey Metoyer, WR from Whitehouse, TX is a LSU lock. This would be a good pickup and an glaring need.

Sedrick Flowers Reed (DE from Cleveland) and Sheroid Evans, all guys either LSU has offered, or will offer are supposedly going to commit to UT at their first junior day if offered. Anthony Wallace and Franklin Shannon at Dallas Skyline are UT guys also.

From everything I've heard it's possible with Flowers but I don't expect him to commit to Texas early like they usually do.Evans is a possibility.I've heard conflicting reports on him.I doubt that they even lead for Anthony Wallace. His recruitment will be a battle for most of the cycle.(Texas,LSU,Oklahima)We have a great shot at him.I don't know about the other guy.

That is a joke that Hilliard is #42. He is one of the BEST backs in the country. Maybe after his senior year they will jump him up there. There cannot be too many RB's better than him...speed, size, allusiveness, hands....he is the real deal.

We have to take into account that throughout the country fans of every school think the same of other players , those who might commit to their school or those who are from their state.

Sometimes we miss the forest for the trees. Whilst the recruiting sites might miss a few here and there - by and large they have a more objective view than we do.

BTW it might still turn out that Hilliard might be one of the misses and be worth a top 25 but we are too emotionally invested in that decision to take a clear view.
