I was looking on scout and found out that We offered a kid named Keaston Walker. Anyone know anything about him? And as far as Baxter or Ledet, andyone think that we will offer these guys, especially if we can't get Hughes(Travis)?

I am on the Ledet bandwagon.

Read somewhere that he scored a 33 on his ACT. Ledet= "Mike" MLB IMO.

Hell, yeah -- me too. Really hope we offer him! The young man is ALL upside.

If he were actually 6'0 215 I would say hell yeah, he's a freaking beast, but he's only 5'10.5 at best. Add to that that he's already built like an ox, there's not much room to add weight on him and improve. To short to play LB, to light (with not much room to get bigger) to play fb.

Ledet is the closest thing to Hester LSU will ever find

LSU is crowded at runningback already. That said I would use those extra scholarships on other positions.

Probably splitting hairs here, but I know the kid. I am 6' tall and he is as tall as me. I hope he gets a good look by the LSU staff.

It's not really splitting hairs, honestly I think it is his height that's keeping him from an offer thus far. So if he's now legitimately 6'0 then he may get one before it's said and done.
He was standing near me a little while last year when we played edw in a scrimmage. On cement with cleats he was a little over 5'10 at the most. I got the roster and saw he was listed at 6'0 the big QB they had was also listed at 6'0 which is laughable, cause he was a good 2-3 inches taller than him easily.
Now if he grew over the last year and is now a legit 6'0 then I hope this kid gets an offer cause he's tough as hell. We'll be playing edw very soon. I'm looking forward to seeing him play and seeing if he's really 6'0 or close to it.

Who knows, but it will be fun watching high school football on the bayou this year. Good luck on your season.

I saw him recently, definatly at 6' now. Cant add much weight, but doesnt really have too, he put weight on this summer, and has been doing good at camps
