Talked with someone closer with the situation right now. Colorado made him a pretty big offer, but LSU is the choice 100%

Imagine wanting to play for Colorado over LSU. I don’t care what the money is. Bless these kids. Do these kids not understand that the real money comes after college. It should be a no brainer LSU over Colorado.

Could be but tea leaves tell a different story. Our insiders are already putting their outs in place. Its certainly not the "lock" many assumed it would be. I'm with Crown though. Would rather spend more wisely than getting in a bidding war for another wr. But we just have to watch the plan unfold I suppose. I have no doubt there is one whether I always agree or not.

Counter argument:
The VAST majority of these kids won't see NFL money, no matter how good a recruit they are.
The NFL will find you at a Division 3 school if you are good.
Get as much money as you can because tomorrow won't be promised.
