He's expected to play this year. I don't know if he did last night or not. He's supposed to be progressing really quickly, so that's good.

Thompson got some PT last night. He will see spot duty this year and in time be a big contributor.

Dude's not getting an offer so the least the staff can do is give the kid and his parents some tics.

Hawkins will redshirt I think, but he's going to be a star. Ridiculous athlete.

He looked great standing on the sideline Sat. night.

I'm looking for an amicable resolution to this, gentlemen

I suggest they all read this free Rivals article on decommits. They'll just love Big Game Bob's comments:
quote:

Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops is not in favor of kids breaking their college commitments. "It's like me telling my wife, 'hey, we're going to get married in February,'" Stoops said. "But until we do, I'm going to date these other three girls all through September, October and November until we get married. That doesn't work.

"A kid is not committed if he's taking visits. We tell them that. We tell them, 'if that's the case, we don't accept your commitment and we'll keep recruiting guys at your position.'"

This article must have originated from Norman. They got some input from one of their favorite feeder schools.
quote:

Tony Sanchez, head coach at Las Vegas powerhouse Bishop Gorman High School, isn't ready to shoulder the blame for fickle nature of today's recruiting. He'd like to see the people complaining accept partial responsibility.
Sanchez & Stoops are usually in agreement. They've both spent time figuring out how to keep delinquents on the field.

Have you seen his offensive stats from this week?

11 carries, 253 yards from wild cat
1 pass, 1 30 yardish td

three or four total tds.

Chavis won't give him up from the LB slot but that SOB would be the best FB to ever step on campus. Period.

I wish we had room for Claiborne. Hate that he'll be at TAM playing against us. Kid has some Deion Jones qualities. No doubt in my mind that if we wanted him, we could get him.

Melvin Jones is the real deal! Would easily much rather have him than Liggins.

Who was at the game? And we do what we want. So suck it you Faggie, if your commit wants to come to LSU, and he has an offer, he can.

Sheesh.
