Doesn't hurt at all, but Hanagriff has said several times, and I tend to agree, that one win or loss doesn't have a huge effect either way. Recruiting is a long process, and a lot of factors go into a kid's decision.

That's simply 2 slapdicks opinion

If you're a 17-18-year-old considering where to go to college, last night would have a huge effect on you. In a positive way. That's the best atmosphere they have experienced or will experience during the recruiting process.

probably doesn't help much for. . . WR recruiting
For that, we have our 13 active NFL WRs (most by any school in the country) to rely on.

Amazing how someone can be negative after a night like last night.

I have always said, win or lose, that 1 game doesn't make a difference. All you have to do to confirm that is watch for committments to the home team after getting beaten badly...happens all the time. And as far as Jerry Tillery goes, isn't he the one who has been decked out in purple and gold for the game vs Wisconsin and maybe another game?

Jerry Tillery => LSU whether LSU beat Ole Miss or not

1 game doesn't change a recruit's mind, but last night was the culmination of multiple games where a coaching staff stayed true to it's identity and the young nucleus is all-in w/ the coaching staff. Dominant oline play and a swarming defense wasn't just LSU last night, it's been LSU for the last decade.

I would think it has to. Best gameday atmosphere anywhere.

could go a long way in replacing what we may lose if Vadal goes early...

Will certainly be starting by 2016, our next bite at the apple....

No high school WR would find this enticing

Equally amazing to me that anyone doesn't understand that sometimes these kids want to go somewhere that gets them the ball the most.

Good thing Beckham and Landry didn't make their decisions based on the JJ/JL fiasco

if we ran a pro style offense and got the ball more in our playmakers hands it would help recruiting even more.

This is not a knock on the QB's we have because they're really young but, if your a QB how can you not think you can come and compete for PT.

Spoke with Justin McMillan and Damarkus Lodge on the field after the game and you could just tell that Lodge was in awe. McMillan jokingly told me that Lodge is gonna be a tiger, so I asked him what he thought about Tiger Stadium and all Lodge could do was smile!

If by "kickstart" you mean will we pick up a commitment from a kicker, then yes.

I'm sure they watch football on sundays and that's all the help they probably need.

I don't think a win or a loss would have had a major affect on a recruits decision, but seeing Tiger Stadium like that does.

There's a reason businesses pimp out their offices. It attracts business as well as personnel. How would you like to practice your craft in a place that is as impressive as TS was on Saturday night? I know I would for sure.

Win or lose, this game was going to show fans how unbelievable this venue is. That is what really showed in this game for recruiting IMO.

the hay is 95% in the barn at this point in recruiting. very few kids haven't made up their mind at this point even if they haven't made it official yet. one win over ole miss won't change that.
